Sunrise Texas style!

This was only my 2nd sunrise this year and had been hoping for more cloud in the sky for a more spectacular sky but had to work with what I was given and despite the lack of sky interest I was able to catch the sun just right as it burst up over Torquay as seen from Preston Sands.

Located : Hashigui-iwa rocks, Kushimoto-cho, Wakayama pref.

Came home from work and hopping for a sunrise, well I got some impressive colors but the sun never came up,

30 minutes later the sun was above the horizon and to bright for a good shot,

Kami tidak memerhati dengan mata hati segala ciptaan-Mu

Kami tidak merenungi keindahan alam ciptaan-Mu

Kami bukan Ulul Albab seperti yang dirakamkan dalam Kitab-Mu

Sungguh kami tidak berfikir

Sungguh!

Benarlah

Hanya sedikit dikalangan hamba-Mu yang bersyukur

Kurniakanlah kami

good morning everyone, this mornings sunrise taken after the Dog woke me up at 4:30 am

Have to say it was worth the effort of getting up at 4am and catching this sunrise from Mt Trio looking back towards Bluff Knoll.

Sometimes iPhone 6 gives very beautiful colors. Usually I shoot with phones only to be able to send photo to instagram or email from the scene. The main problem for me is the lack of optical zoom and the limited post-processing possibilities (and I don't mean all kind of unnatural filters). Maybe I should change my view and consider phone as filter gadget. These photos are original unfiltered.
