Sunset over a cloudy Dubrovnik, Croatia

Rieselfelder Münster - Vogelschutzgebiet - NRW

One of those impromptu shots whilst driving home, a quick pull into a lay by and grab the camera just as the sky erupted with colour. Five minutes later and I would have missed it.

Monknash, The Vale of Glamorgan, South Wales, UK

It's just another sunset...but is there such a thing as "just another" sunset? It's a magical time of day and they're all individual and beautiful, especially by the coast when they show their full glory.

I felt like more gold in the photostream, so it's just a bit of a colour burst addition.

Amazing sundown on the volcano Teide, Tenerife, Canaries. The Pico del Teide is 3715 m high. In the evening it gets bitterly cold. Sometimes it even snowed, while it was 21 degrees by the sea. You stand above the clouds and are fascinated by this incredible nature. Absolute highlight! The use of strong gray gradient filters is absolutely important, because the contrast differences between dark volcanic rock and bright sky are extreme.

Deininger Weiher near Munich

Thanks for your visits and comments!

Wish you have a beautiful weekend!

Sonnenuntergang - Jandia, Fuerteventura

Sundown in Polignano a Mare, Puglia. Seen from one of the famous balconys with a stunning view over the coastline of the so called "costa barese".

Taken at Macleods Beach, which is located in Dunvegan on Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Evening reflections on the shore at Bandon, Oregon.

Went for a walk to Chickacoo Lake last night. This was a shot I got just before the sun dropped below the tree line.

Just before sundown at the White Mountain Grassland Animal Preserve near Eagar, Arizona. The White Mountains are full of Elk. If you drive country roads at dusk you need to be careful to not hit one crossing the road. Actually they cross the roads in large numbers and when you see one there could be several or a 100 following the first one, just racing along in a big herd.
