I got flown down to Jamaica May 16th to 23rd, 2012 to shoot 2 Destination Weddings.
These were shot on the bus ride from the Club Hotel Riu Negril to the airport in Montego Bay the day I was leaving, while the bus was speeding down the highway at 80km per hour... Pretty impressive Drive-By Shooting, eh? ;-)

Když Čenda s jeho věrnou přítelkyní dvanáctistrunkou Yamahou přijede do obce, kde ještě nikdy nebyl, vejde do hospůdky, kterou ještě nikdy nenavštívil, začne se s místnimi domorodci, které též vidí prvně, srdnatě vítat se slovy: "Ahoj, jak se máš, dlouho jsem tě neviděl, minule to byla paráda." K mladším dodá: "Už jsi se oženil, nějaké děcko na cestě?" Ke starším naopak: "Stále jsi s tou svojí?" K ženám pošle svůj úsměv a dodá jak jim to sluší, a že vypadají stále mladší a mladší ...
Pokuste se vcítit do takového domorodce. Čenda, kterého jste nikdy neviděli, přijel právě do té vaší obce, do té vaší hospůdky, a právě vám třese pravicí a vítá se s vámi zrovna takovým stylem, jakým jsem popsal. Mě se to stalo a já vám proto můžu přesně popsat, jak se zachováte.
Po prvním šoku se na Čendu mile usmějete a začnete mu na jeho otázky odpovídat. Po krátkém výslechu z Čendovy strany se přistihnete u toho jak ty samé otázky pokládáte vy jemu a zanedlouho se ocitnete v hovoru, který normálně vedou dva celoživotní přátelé, když se po dlouhé době potkají. Máte pocit, že přijel váš velký věčně usměvavý, neúnavně optimistický kamarád, který bude po celý večer sedět ve stejném lokálu a zpívat, spolu s vámi, ty nejznámější písničky. Takový pocit budou mít všichni návštěvníci vaší restauračky, kteří se rozhodli s Čendou strávit tento večer.
Mezi písněmi jsou na programu i pauzy k osvěžení, a nejednu z těchto přestávek využije Čenda k tomu, aby se prošel mezi stoly a tu a tam zapředl další přátelský rozhovor s vámi a dalšími spoluobčerstvujícímise. Po dlouhém večeru, někdy až k ránu, se s vámi i ostatními Čenda stejně srdnatě rozloučí a vy v tu chvíli víte, že příště opět dorazíte, jelikož přijede váš velký kamarád se svým optimismem, se svým přívětivým úsměvem, i se svou zvučnou přítelkyní Yamahou.
Za mnou Čenda jezdí do toho "našeho" Sklepa každé pondělí už několik let, a já vím, že pokud budu mít čas, nenechám si tyto setkání nikdy ujít, stejně tak jako Vy.
