Journaling: When Uncle Rich had his stroke about 5 weeks ago, Amy and I immediately started making plans to go to Seattle to see him and Aunt Nancy. We just knew it was the right thing to do. We decided to go May 12-15, 2011, even though I would have to take personal days to go. We both were a bit anxious about what his condition would be. When we got there, we were instantly relieved to see that he was his same old self. Loving and full of stories, even stories he couldn’t find words for. A bit of sign language, a bit of gibberish, and a whole lot of expression told the stories.
