American Horror Story's finale was overall pretty disappointing to me. Tate is a crazy motherfucker (literally), but Evan Peters played him so well you had sympathy for him sometimes.

and she lay down on the floor and everyone made his own story about it
there was one about a sleep of more than a hundred years and one about a prince waking her up after a day or less
and also one about her death, but no one wants to hear it

They are the journalists who produced some of Canada's most recent poignant and powerful stories. What challenges lie behind reporting these important pieces? From the first notion of an idea to its final fruition—and even after a story airs or is published—hear about the process and its results from three of this country's top investigative journalists.
In celebration of International Women’s Day, join Robyn Doolittle, investigative reporter for The Globe and Mail, on the ‘Unfounded’ investigation; Tanya Talaga, reporter with the Toronto Star and current Atkinson Fellow in Public Policy, on her book Seven Fallen Feathers; and Connie Walker, investigative reporter and host of Missing & Murdered, a CBC News podcast on bringing the still unsolved Alberta Williams murder story to light. Matt Galloway, host of CBC Toronto’s Metro Morning, moderates this discussion.

I was in third grade and my parents said I was a cute kid with a great personality who loved to laugh. The problem was that I was overweight, and that year the bullying began. A couple of kids at school started picking on me. Before school, after school, at recess, on the bus. “Fatty, Tubbo, Jelly Roll” were names I was called every day. They would throw stuff at me too. I was so scared I wouldn’t ride the bus and my mom had to take me to school. Even when I got to school I would scream and cry, begging my mom not to leave me there.
I didn’t tell my mom and dad why I didn’t want to go to school anymore, so instead I would fake being sick all the time. I just wanted to stay at home where I was safe. My parents talked to my teacher, my principal, and a school counselor. They finally found out I was being bullied and I got to switch to a new class with an awesome teacher, Mrs. Willhoite. There were not any bullies in her class and she would let me bring my lunch to her room and eat with her so I didn’t have to go to recess and be around those mean kids from my old class.
The bullies were still picking on me in fourth, fifth, and sixth grades. I would see them in the halls. They’d be there at recesses. But I had finally been truthful and asked for help. My mom and dad worked with the school to make sure I was in good classes and protected as much as possible. Would the bullying have been so bad if I had asked for help in the very beginning? I don’t know, but I do know that once my parents found out they got me help. And once I got help, I didn’t have to deal with the bullies by myself.
By sixth grade, even though I was hardly being bullied, I started to get sick for real. I weighed 206 pounds by the time I was eleven. I had solved the bullying problem, but now I had to take care of my health. I started drinking water instead of soda, eating fruits and veggies instead of chips and candy. I even put down my Xbox controller and went outside. I got active and started getting healthier. I lost some weight and felt great. I lost some more it was awesome! The harder I worked, the more I lost. The better I felt, the harder I worked. By the time I got to seventh grade I lost 85 pounds! My friends hardly recognized me. The bullies didn’t even think I was the same kid and left me alone. I was back to being what my parents had described when I was in third grade — a cute kid with a great personality who loved to laugh.
I started a project called Strive for 85, since 85 is the magic number of pounds that I lost. I inspired 85 other kids. I hosted or attended 85 events that raised awareness. I’ve been on TV, in magazines, even got to fly to Washington, D.C…. twice. I’ve spent the last year traveling around to schools and telling them bullying is never okay. I was overweight but I didn’t deserve to get picked on.
If you are being bullied, get help. You don’t have to deal with this alone. You have to believe in yourself and not let mean kids decide who you will be and what you can do. If you are being the bully, stop! Come run with me instead or go ride a bike, climb a building, hit a punching bag. Do anything other than try to make a kid, like me, feel bad about himself.

Children play in Mchinji, Malawi as a local business woman tells her microfinance story for a MicroFlicks film from VisionFund and World Vision. Business owner, farmer, grandmother to six children, and microfinance entrepreneur, Ifgenia has had her share of struggles. Born in the 1950’s, Ifgenia went to school and had dreams of going to college and getting a business degree. She was discouraged from this by her family, dropped out of school and married young.
In 2002 she was hit by a car. After 11 months in the hospital, Ifgenia hobbled out on crutches forbidding her to be able to do any sort of strenuous physical activity ever again.
Unfortunately, death of family is an all too often experience for Ifgenia. Her husband passed away of heart problems. Her son and two daughters also passed away leaving Ifgenia with five orphans to care for -- and she does so with love, faith, and provision. Raphael (9 years old), Jackson (7 years old), Binati (6 years old), Tebwala (6 years old), and Ephraim (2 years old) depend on their grandmother for everything -- food, shelter, clothing, and the opportunity to gain an education.
Ifgenia's life was a struggle with the burden of caring for five small children with a disability. A "headache" as she described it, having to find odd-end jobs to make money for a week at a time. Her cousin told her about VisionFund; that if she and some other women in her village were determined, they could get together and call the advisers of VisionFund who could help them.
Ifgenia received her first loan of 20,000 Kwacha ($500 USD) which she used to buy seeds, fertiliser, and tools to start her own farming business. Soon her business called for more. She repaid her first loan and drew a second one this time using the money to purchase a bike and a cow giving her milk to sell and a mode of transportation for a neighbor or one of her grandchildren to ride to the market for her. A third loan was later taken out and now Ifgenia also has a small number of piglets.
The money she has gained by being able to sell extra crops, milk, and pigs at the market is used to send her grandchildren to school -- a cost of approximately 15,000-135,000 Kwacha a year. I asked her what her dream is for her grandchildren. She said, "My dream is that they are the best in their class, that they finish school because I never did." And what her dream for her business is as she is saving for a fourth VisionFund loan: "I hope to improve my business (so that I can) improve my house. There are many leaks and things to be fixed so that my grandchildren have a good home."
Two weeks ago this animal was all but dead by the side of I-80 up at about 7000 ft, an observant motorist saw this female coyote laying there with frozen siliva coming out of her mouth, stopped and determine the coyote was alive, She picked it up, put it in her truck and contacted goldcountrywildliferescue.org/. Dana from GCWR met the lady and tranferred the coyote to her truck and then to the vet. Amazingly there were no broken bones, but she had a concussion and only time would tell how she would do. Well Dana took her to Sherry, who cares for larger mammals and Sherry took over. The first couple of days the coyote was on her side, then she started to come around, For a few days Sherry could pet the coyote like a dog, then after about a week, Sherry said " I looked into her eyes and no longer saw that friendly domesticated look, I knew she would be alright" After two weeks of rehab at Sherry's place this coyote is close to being returned to the wild, she is an amazing story and would not have made it if it were not for these caring people.
If you have any spare change this goldcountrywildliferescue.org/ all volunteer organization needs your help so they can continue to help these critters, all you donation goes toward helping these animals, thanks
Who doesn't love Disney's Toy Story? And Toy Story 3 will be out this year!
I love all the characters, and couldn't pass up this textured Bullseye soft toy, marked Disney Canada, at a local thrift store.

263 Stories is a record of runners in Kensington Gardens between Monday 9th April and Sunday 22nd April 2012, the day of the London Marathon.
The habits of 263 runners using the Nike+ iPod sensors are seen over this period, logging the serial number and distance run for each. The data was collected from the third floor window of the Royal College of Art using the Sparkfun iPod Serial board and algorithms developed by Dmitry Grinberg.

We were both young when I first saw you
I close my eyes
And the flashback starts
I'm standing there
On a balcony in summer air
See the lights
See the party, the ball gowns
I see you make your way through the crowd
And say hello, little did I know
That you were Romeo, you were throwing pebbles
And my daddy said stay away from Juliet
And I was crying on the staircase
Begging you please don't go, and I said
Romeo take me somewhere we can be alone
I'll be waiting all there's left to do is run
You'll be the prince and I'll be the princess
It's a love story baby just say yes
So I sneak out to the garden to see you
We keep quiet 'cause we're dead if they knew
So close your eyes
Escape this town for a little while
'Cause you were Romeo, I was a scarlet letter
And my daddy said stay away from Juliet
But you were everything to me
I was begging you please don't go and I said
Romeo take me somewhere we can be alone
I'll be waiting all there's left to do is run
You'll be the prince and I'll be the princess
It's a love story baby just say yes
Romeo save me, they try to tell me how to feel
This love is difficult, but it's real
Don't be afraid, we'll make it out of this mess
It's a love story baby just say yes
Oh oh
I got tired of waiting
Wondering if you were ever coming around
My faith in you is fading
When I met you on the outskirts of town, and I said
Romeo save me I've been feeling so alone
I keep waiting for you but you never come
Is this in my head? I don't know what to think
He knelt to the ground and pulled out a ring
And said, marry me Juliet
You'll never have to be alone
I love you and that's all I really know
I talked to your dad, go pick out a white dress
It's a love story baby just say yes
Oh, oh, oh, oh
'Cause we were both young when I first saw you

Read Across America is not just a celebration for schools, it's a nationwide celebration that touches every community. From daycare centers to libraries and recreation centers, everyone is joining in on the fun!
At one daycare, our littlest learners are spent the day exploring the pages of their favorite books and discovering new stories to share with their friends.
Meanwhile, at a local library, families gathered to participate in a special story time, reading challenges, and games. Libraries have been decorated with colorful banners and posters, inviting readers of all ages to come in and explore the endless possibilities of reading.
And over at the recreation center, kids are taking a break from sports and games to join in on the fun. The center has set up reading corners, book swaps, and encouraging kids to explore new stories and have fun while doing it.
No matter where you go in our community today, the joy of reading is in the air. As we celebrate Read Across America, we're reminded of the power of books to inspire, educate, and connect us all. So let's pick up a book, share a story, and celebrate the magic of reading together!

Bom, continuando a TAG "Trilha Sonora".
Enfim... Enjoy :’)
