El mercado de Darajani es el más conocido de Stone Town, la capital de Zanzíbar.

Aparte del pescado "fresco" pululaban miles de moscas y el olor era insoportable.

Another picture of Carrigaline, such vibrant colours everywhere making these tiny towns stand out.

The Macro Mondays group’s theme for 6/7 is board game pieces. I chose the strategy game mancala which one source said could have been invented as long ago as 7000 years in Egypt. It consists of a board, today usually made of wood, that has cups carved in. Stones which were probably originally actually stones are placed in each cup and the players move them around the board, trying not to lose their turn. Since the stones have long since disappeared, these are replacement ones for our game.

A look at the civil war era Hyde's Millhouse from afar. The owner has set old, used millstones in the ground along the fence line. The finial shows wear, but not like the stones.

The paddocks for a horse stud in Hochsolling, where horses were bred as early as the 18th century, are enclosed by roughly 10 kilometers long stone walls, some of which are up to two meters high. The listed walls are said to date from the 18th and 19th centuries. They served as a replacement for pasture fences. Unfortunately, they are already damaged in some places. Old oaks stand along the quarry stone wall, giving the whole landscape an English charm.

Shihmen Dam (Chinese: 石門水壩; literally: "Stone Gate Dam"; also spelled Shimen or Shihman) is a rock fill dam across the Dahan Creek in northern Taoyuan City. The dam's main purposes are water supply, flood control and hydroelectricity generation, and it holds the Shihmen Reservoir (石門水庫), Taiwan's third largest reservoir and artificial lake. Completed in 1964, the dam and reservoir now supply water to more than three million people in northern Taiwan. However, sedimentation issues have impacted and continue to threaten safe dam operations.

Title: Coloured Stone.

Exploring combinations of forms, colours, solid and liquid appearances, using superpositions of two or more images. Minimal alteration of light, contrast and colour.

Original photographs of iced-up puddles on the earth; stone walls, colourful walls of houses, bark, tree trunks, patterns on the earth.

All along the roads in rural Wales you see beautiful stone walls, often extending as far as the eye can see. “A drystone wall does not use cement or mortar to hold the stones together . The stones are used just as they are found (or quarried) and not dressed (cut to size). Drystone walls created boundaries showing landownership and were also a means of controlling livestock.” The walls are still being built today, to decorate a dwelling or to mark a boundary. Each has the signature style of its builder. They are a part of the proud heritage of Wales and other countries in the British Isles.

These are made from Mexican Alabaster.

"Before there were fidget spinners and mind-numbing mobile games, there were worry stones. It’s just about the earliest and simplest form of natural medicine!"

Here at Cape Arkona there are no possibilities to lie down in the warm sand. But it is still a paradise for the children. My two love to collect stones and analyze them. They are discovering so much right now.

Only so much no I stand here not in the water I jumped for the photo on one of these large rocks. That to the photo, musically you can try this, I like classical elements in a nevertheless ehr electronic piece.
