Very weird fly. It was huge and on checking insect book it is apparently a type of hover fly ! Have to say didn't see it hover and not sure I would want to either !!

Westminster College students help teach a chemistry course to students at New Wilmington Elementary School.
On the last Friday of every month, Freeman Elementary students work on a Science, Technology, Engineering, & Math (STEM) problem. Students K-5 will collaborate in teams to solve a problem using these skills. Whether they are making a bridge to support a toy car or making a paper airplane that can support a cargo while flying a certain distance, students collaborate and plan out their projects so they can attempt to execute them.
