Thank you so much for your visit, kind words and faves ! I really appreciate each of them ! Have a nice day my friends !
I was going through my old images of Charlie and this was one of the last shots that I took of her before she passed away almost two years ago now, that was our old back gate and she always used to look through to be let in.
… Priscilla is obviously wondering why I haven’t got anything for her. I must be the only one she hasn’t been able to get food from around these allotments :-)
Thankfully this Peregrine Falcon was very cooperative for a while allowing shots like this. It just sat there looking at the birds flying around and us. Stone Harbor Point NJ.
Hello my amazing Flickr friends !
Today is a yellow day at Color my World Daily and of course we have a yellow picture to celebrate that. When I had the idea for this picture it had nothing to do with politics but now each time I see yellow and blue with red I can’t help but think about current political events… Let just hope for a quick and peaceful resolution of this war.
Mucho, mucho amor for you all !! Have a beautiful day !
Thank you so much for all your lovely comments / favs/ general support / happy thoughts!! Stay safe and well!!
Feels like you´re hurt forever
I´m tryna make it better
I-I-I-I-I feel you´re lost tonight
Act like you need nobody
Say you´re not broken hearted
But that´s just a lie
Though you´re next to me yeah
You´re staring at the ceiling
Let me hear you breathing
Ah-ah
I-I-I-ah-I
I-I-I-ah-ah-ah-I
Ah-ah-ah-I
Wanna see you smile

The "ghosts" on the bridge where not intended. I was just too absorbed with the setup and composition to notice them.
I used a ND1000 filter (Big Stopper) for the long exposure and additionally a soft gradual ND8 filter to darken the upper right corner.

First of all, apologies for not having been around. I’ve been following his example of staring into the distance and striving for a complete state of comatose oblivion. And obviously, this worked rather well for me and him. Even though I recently picked up the camera again, did not really find anything worthwhile to record. My lack of motivation was and is a contributing factor.
Merry Christmas to all of you and having the best of intentions to post some more. Same as last year, I still dislike Christmas songs intensely, so I am using this one as an alternate.
UK: How did I do this?
What you see is two sprigs of bindweed.
Background: a bottle of blue detergent (translucent) and behind it a ringflash. You can use different kinds of translucent materials as background.
Be creative ;-)
Wees creatief ;-)
I found this garden snail (terrestrial mollusc) devouring this ‘cloud ear’ fungus. Cloud ear fungus (Auricularia polytricha or Hirneola polytricha) is an edible jelly fungus and somewhat elastic and gelatinous, as well as silky to touch when fully formed. It grows on wet trees and takes on the colour of the tree on which it grew, so it can range from dark yellowish-brown to dark brown or even black. It goes by several names including black mushroom, ‘tenga ng daga’, black fungus, wood ear fungus, tree ear fungus and ear mushroom. I have seen cloud ears at the market and are sold mainly in dried form.

Whisper's favourite thing to do is hang on the window frame and watch the birds and world go by. After six years, one would think she might tire of it. But seriously, if the window is open, she is happy to sit for hours, like a little kid on a rainy day, staring out into the world.
