If I studied hard enough I might be able to wrap my head around the fact that this plant and Scarlet Pimpernel, Lysimachia (Anagallis) arvensis, are now in the same genus.
The Borage plant is also known as the Starflower and is very hairy and has a distinctive small blue flower with five narrow triangular pointed petals. The leaves are edible and tastes like cucumber and the flower has a honey like taste and is often used to decorate desserts, but the seeds are collected commercially for ‘borage seed oil’. The plant can grow to the height of 2ft to 3ft and it flowers from June until September, if it is left alone it will keep growing new plants from the seeds that drop on to the compost. I planted a mix of wild flower seeds this year and this is one of the lovely plants that grew along with other varieties.

怎麼去拥有一道彩虹
怎麼去拥抱夏天的风
天上的星星笑地上的人
总是不能懂
不能知道足够
How to have a rainbow
How to embrace the summer breeze
The stars of heaven laughing at the people on earth
Always do not understand
How to be contented

After Ivy Mining Bees occupied a 10 m square patch of earth I'd been preparing for a change of use, I had to delay my plans for a year and so decided to sow some wild flower seeds to cover the area until they leave in the Autumn. After our cool and wet Spring they are finally beginning to flower.

This is such a nice lens. Very affordable while being quite capable. It's slower than many at F3.5 wide open, but that also means a bit more deptht of field while maintaining circular bokeh. It's much sharper that the 135mm F3.5 Konica Hexanon that I also have.

I thought their flowering was already over when I found this little beauty from a shady and damp part of the forest.
This is my design to the second front for the starflower/flowerstar-pillow. I am so happy about joining the talented people there.....
Tirentalis Borealis or Starflower. Deep in the dense, green woods one finds the starflower blooming in the shadows.
Found in the Whiting Forest in Midland, Michigan.
Lysimachia latifolia, sometimes called Trientalis latifolia, is a species in the genus Trientalis in the family Primulaceae.
The last fold in the middle of the starflowers from "Yellow and you get "Blue" with stars. Now this tessellation is finished ;-))
It is a bigger version of the "Ice-flower" molecule.
This pattern is also related to "Purple".
Folded from bible paper, hexagon about 33cm, grid 1:48.
