This installation is known as 'Event Horizon' and accompanied the launch of Antony Gormleys Blind Light Exhibition. We were lucky enough to get there on the last day, but sadly no photography was allowed inside the Hayward Gallery.

This image is from the series of pictures I took regarding my project about flee markets. I just wanted to show the relation between the seller and the items he is selling. How a part of him is also being sold alongside his things. He just loses a part of himself as well. I related all of this to the title which is called "Soul Meets Body". The project was shot in both Egypt and Germany to compare the different flee markets with each other and how the sellers react when they are standing by their stands and how they act when I approache them with my camera and with my idea for the project. The sellers in Berlin, Germany, didn't really care when I did and they just didn't look so happy about the whole day and the idea of selling their things. On the contrary, the sellers in Cairo, Egypt, just wanted to smile in the pictures and seemed really happy about my approach. It's quite funny how different both nationalities are and how they view things in such different ways.
