Matchbox released their first Holden Commodore VF SSV last year in an authentic Australian themed Police livery. Distribution is so poor here in the UK that 12 months later it is still widely available in many stockists and this brand new civilian flavoured one is highly unlikely to appear in the UK, certainly not anytime soon! I'm particularly glad Matchbox have decided to give this Australian high performance saloon the factory fresh touch as it now means this casting gets some much needed rear tampo detailing and something that back end really needed! Finished in a vivid metallic Burnt Orange colour which suits its performance orientated stance.

Part of 2024 Case H found for me by a friend visiting Spain on holiday.

PN SSV Construction Almost Completed

As much as the debut Holden VF Commodore SSV was well liked for its subject choice and Australian themed Police livery many were hoping for a totally stock looking civilian alternative. Our wishes have been granted in 2024 with the added bonus, but much needed, rear detailing to lights and badging and now this casting can be considered 100% complete.

Any Holden models in this scale and price point are a relative rarity compared to other marques so well done to Matchbox and for doing such a decent job of it too.
