I like making cards for every season, even winter, my least favorite (and I figured I'd have some fun with the GOT reference😉). For this tone on tone card I used patterned paper from a past SSS card kit, and embellished it with cute snowflakes. Tip: using a strip of parchment vellum is a good way to keep your sentiment die cut from getting lost in a busy background. Snowflake dies from @iostamps, winter die and sentiment from @simonsaysstamp. I'm entering this card in Simon's Flickr challenge. Have a great weekend!

The stamp set and dies are "Koalaty Time" from a Stamptember exclusive between Sugar Pea Designs and Simon Says Stamp. I used Tim Holtz's Distress Inks to watercolor on Ranger watercolor paper. I die cut three additional pieces and glued them together for added dimension. The one khaki heart and three stacked white hearts were cut using two SSS Nested Hearts that I taped together. This is for the "Water Coloring" SSSFlickrChallenge#88.

SSS Flower Pattern stencil and Heidi Swapp metallic texture paste for the background

SSS So Loved stamp set and Ranger gold embossing powder for the sentiment

Another card that I made using the fun School Bus Messages stamp set from the new SSS Friendly Frolic release. Going to add this to the SSS flickr challenge to use your favorite technique. For me that is watercoloring.

After a few false starts I finally got the look I wanted on this card. Instead of white heat embossing I decided to use white pigment ink for a softer look. The colored borders are from @heroarts Sparkle Borders stamp set, and the framing borders, "plus sign" line and hearts are all from @simonsaysstamp You + Me set. The sentiment is from @lawnfawn, heat embossed on white parchment vellum. Colored with Prismacolor pencils. I'm entering this card in @sssflickrchallenge.

Hi! I made this card for #sssflickrchallenge - and the 'new' here is that Circle Leaves die! Used it for the first time and made three cards. Also used words dies by SSS.

After adding the strips of Washi Tape to my paper I cut out the Simon Says Stamp heart die. I cut the die again from silver glitter paper and placed that one in the cut out opening so the glitter heart was inlaid.
