Christmas card using Simon Says Picture Book deer shaded with copics. Entering the SSSFlickrchallenge#213 and lovechallenge#90.
My entry to the Simon Says Stamp Flickr Challenge 34.
I used the Heart of Roses die as the main focal point for this card. I cut a larger heart out of vellum and then used my Copics to create the stained glass effect behind the die.
Supplies:
Dies: Heart of Roses and Stitched Rectangles (Simon Says Stamp), Happy (Mama Elephant)
Stamps: Happy Everything (Mama Elephant)
Sequins: Silver 4mm and 6mm (Pretty Pink Posh)
This sweet pea print, from Suzy's Simon Says Stamp "New Beginnings," whispers softly that spring is on its way. I used Zig Markers to watercolor. The sentiment is from Simon's "Artful Flowers" set and the edges were cut with their "Scallop Stitches" die. This is for the "Think Spring." SSSflickrchallenge#67.
I have used SSS You are loved Die on my card on a Gold Cardstock. Rainbows are created using various colored cardstock. This card is for SSS Flickr Challenge #178
For the SSSFlickrChallenge #65. Distress ink blending over the SSS Abstract Triangles background stamp for a fun and colorful birthday card!

made a gorgeous card suitable for Valentine's Day or anniversary with Simon Says Stamp's February card kit with the stamp set Love Always. More details on my blog: jantink.com/2019/02/simon-says-stamp-love-always.html
created for the SSS flickrchallenge #90, Love / Hearts. I have used the Simon Says large hearts dies, cutting them from a Pink Fresh 6x6 paper, I added some doodles to the hearts. The hugs die is from MFT and the small sentiment is from SSS as well.
A Pinterest-inspired card for SSSFlickrChallenge#20. The inspiration graphic had lots of bright colors and flowers, so that's where I went for this card.
SSS Products use: Favorite Flowers stamp set; Green Leaf Doll Pink, Orange Peel, and Sunshine inks; fog card stock.
I'm also entering this over at the SSS Monday Challenge (Thank You).
The stamp is one of my favorites âEarth Has Musicâ from Simon Says Stamp. I colored the feathers with Distress Inks and the flowers with Copic Markers. The sentiment is also from Simon Says Stamp's âMore Good Vibes.â This is for the Let's Color Challenge. SSSFlickrchallenge#117
Created this card for the Simon Says flickrchallenge#110. Using the Sketched Flowers stamp set and my new intense color blocks on craft paper.

Made with the SSS Christmas Blessings die, Distress Inks and Stickles. Jewels are SAIIC by Prima. For SSSFlickrchallenge#111
SSSFlickrChallenge#35 (watercolor) meets SSS Monday Challenge ("new"), Take 1. I used the negative of the hello die cut on watercolor paper, and traced the word using the Molotow masking pen. Once it dried, I watercolored over it with Gansai Kuretake paints. I splattered some water, and lifted it after a few seconds to give it more texture. Interesting how these particular colors reacted more than the reds/pinks I used for my other card. Not sure if it was just this one was more dry, or if some colors just reactivate better?? The "hello" felt a little lonely, so I stamped the "friend" from an older set by SSS. Does anyone else have Adele in their head now? So this was a new masking technique I learned at SSS Create, and then finally had to courage to try on my own this weekend. Pretty cool. It's not perfect, but it does give you a nice look with masking! And the die is a good way to cheat since my handwriting will never been as pretty as Kristina's!
SSS Products Used: Painted Hello Die, Favorite Flowers stamps, Smoke card stock.
Made this card for SSS Flickrchallenge 96, embossing. All stamps and stencils are from Simon Says Stamps and heat embossed in clear with versa fine black onyx ink.

My friend, Marie-Françoise, came crafting yesterday and borrowed my new "Heart of Roses" die. Cut it in different colours and then mix and matched them back together.
So glad to hear that Simon's Flickr challenge has "joined" #thedailymarker30day. Gave me an excuse to color this beautiful stamp once again (hope you're not tired of it). I was inspired by @starofmay to use Polychromos pencils on gray cardstock. I also challenged myself to use pink colors (not my favorite), and to make it a one-layer card, but I loved how it turned out.
#sssflickrchallenge, #thedailymarker30day, #simonsaysstamp, #sssck, #polychromos.
Carissa Wiley suggested the idea of using your tiny dies to highlight patterned paper in the Stretch Your Dies class over at Online Card Classes. I pulled out my SSS mini hearts set with this cute, springy patterned paper. I used the Sending die by SSS, cut it out of white card, colored it with a Copic marker, and then hit it with a silver wink of stella. I finished the sentiment with the stamp from Sending Happy Thoughts by SSS. Polka dots and pink make me think spring, so I'm entering this into the SSSFlickrChallenge#15.
I love that this card is fall themed, without being heavily fall colored. This is my go to technique for coloring stamped images for cards. I used two different Simon Says Stamp stamp sets for this card- Thanks & Leaves (SSS101894) and Delicate Flowers (SSS201900). For additional information and how I put this card together, please visit my blog at: wemartins.blogspot.com/2019/09/embossed-watercoloring-wit...
Aside from card making, I love to use my scraps to make tags and other keepsakes. For these tags, I used the clipped heart die, the tiny spaced hearts stencil and the blossom field 3D folder - all from #simonsaysstamp

SSSFlickerChallenge#180 Embossing. I used the Marilyn stencil to dry emboss the card. Distress ink coloured (Tumbled Glass and Peacock Feathers) and stamped Friendship text onto it. Once dry, dry embossed and then lightly sanded to highlight the pattern. Die cut flowers out of Canson XL and watercoloured them with Gansai Tambi paints. Wrapped embroidery thread around and added the Simon Says Stamp strip sentiment to finish it off.
Used Sketched Flowers stamp set from Simon Says Stamp. When I was done coloring I layed some baking paper over and traced the outline. Then I took that paper and layed it over some masking paper with the pencil line down. Drew the outline again on the backside of the baking paper and transferred the pencil onto the masking paper. Cut that out and layed it over the image. Used Art Deco stencil form Gina K. Designs with Distress Oxide Iced Spruce.
When I saw that the new SSS flickr challenge was to capture the colors of fall I knew I wanted to use a trio of leaf dies that I got from SSS late last year and had never used. I die cut the leaves and then inked them up with a mustard colored ink, a rust colored ink and then a deep burgundy ink. The background was created by using a small rectangular stamp from the Gifts of Love stamp set. I colored the stamp with a grey Tombow marker and stamped all the "bricks". I added more grey directly to the "bricks" and then blended out with water. An olive green Tombow marker was used to add more color to the "bricks" and then blended out. Once dry I arranged how I wanted the leaves and the sentiment to be and then stamped the sentiment using my MISTI. Finished by adding the little twine bow.
This was created for the SSS Flickrchallenge#74, Stunning Stencils. The background was a discarded experiment, but I decided to use the swirls and dots stencil with glass bead paste, giving it a cool texture. I then cut the single roses dies out of plain white. All products from Simon Says Stamps
This time it's all pink âşď¸
The shine strips is metallic cardstock from @tim_holtz. I'm running out of it so I need to get some more!
The heart is the Shimmer Heart die from @simonsaysstamp, sentiment from @altenewllc đ
I've put vellum behind the heart âĽ
I used the Best Mom Ever stamp set (Simon Says Stamp) with white embossing powder and added color with watercolor pencils and a water brush, enamel dots for embellishments. I love how the colors really stand out on the kraft card base.

A card for the SSSFlickChallenge#119 and Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge. Using dies and card stock from Simon Says Stamp and Distress Inks
My favorite technique right now is stamping and embossing images in white on watercolor paper and then adding color with Distress inks. I just love how the white pops and this makes the image shine. The butterflies are from Clearly Besotted and the die cut word sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp using a silver glitter paper.
