Supplies:
Heart of Roses and Congratulations die (Simon Says Stamp)
Stitched Rectangles (Simon Says Stamp)
Sequins from Pretty Pink Posh
Background created with Gansai Tambi Watercolors
Jennifer McGuire did a video quite some time ago using a word die and its coordinating shadow die to create a cool effect. I don't have any shadow word dies, but I figured I could do the same thing with a heart die for the current SSSFlickrChallenge (Love is in the Air). Wellll... it wasn't so easy. One lesson is to take the time to be precise. If you rush and fudge it, you'll definitely be able to see where things are wonky. But I figure my 5 year old niece won't really notice, right?
The SSS Wednesday Challenge this week is "The Color of Love." This card has a whole lot of pink going on, so I figured it would fit :)
And finally, the theme over at Time Out Challenge this week (timeoutchallenges.blogspot.fr/) is Inspired by Words. The quote is "Friends are connected heart to heart, distance and time can't break them apart."
SSS Products: Painted Hugs Die, Sending Die, Sending and Wishing stamps set
Made a couple of Christmas Cards using the Emboss Resist Technique with the SSS Kaleidoscope Background stamp and Festive Berries Distress Ink. I will add these to the current SSS Flickr Challenge. More details on my blog

This card is for the Simon Says Stamp challenge #61 - I created this using the bonus "Magical Birthday" stamp set available when ordering from Simon Says Stamp in my birthday month! I received the code because I was subscribed to their newsletter!
The DIY video is available at www.shopleanne.com! :)
I just needed to paint something quick and easy! Simon Says Stamp's "Suzy's Birthday Notes" to the rescue. My Distress Inks were within reach, since I still haven't cleaned up my mess or put away ANYTHING, so I used them. The watercolor strip, on the side, was in my overflowing scrap container. One down, a couple of hundred strips to go! 😂 This is for the "Anything Goes" SSSflickrchallenge#76.
A Happy Birthday card made with Simon Says Stamp's Pointed Feathers dies and Blocked Circles stencil, also I used DCWV pastel glitter paper, Blue Raspberry Perfect Pearls, Ranger texture paste & Pretty Pink Posh sequins.
SSSflickrchallenge#17
Cut scraps into stripes from blue cardstock and blue glitter cardstock 😊 Added a vellum heart and thanks die from Simon Says Stamp 😊
You might call me crazy for this one, but as a papercrafter I hate to waste paper. A few days ago I posted a card where I used @simonsaysstamp Folk Dance die to create my own stencil. This is that stencil, with all the ink on it. I just liked its messy look and bright colors so I backed it up with teal cardstock, framed it in shimmery yellow, added some @tonicusa Nuvo drops, and voilà. Paper rescued. Dashing rectangle dies by @ecraftdesigns, sentiment die and stamp by @pinkandmain. I'm entering this card in Simon's Flickr and Wednesday challenges.

I made this card using a stencil from clear scraps and the background is inked suing distress inks. The whole background is covered using vellum, hence the subtle effect of all that distressing. The sentiment is from the "You" stamp set and I used the coordinating "You" die set. I have also used the mini hearts die. All the dies and stamps are from Simon Says Stamp.
Entering this card in the ongoing flickr challenge using complimentary colours from the colour wheel.
I used distress inks on watercolor paper, and put the candy cane stencil on top and sprayed with water, and dapped it off. I used the die cut from the first card, and die cut 5 more and glued all down. This card is also for SSSflickrchallenge#7

When I first saw the stamp set for @simonsaysstamp December kit, I thought “crazy Christmas sweater!” Ok, I know the term is “ugly” Christmas sweater, but no way I could call those gnomes ugly! I used a knitted pattern embossing folder (@richardgaray) and silver ink to bring out the design. I Copic colored the gnomes and fuzzy cut them, I didn’t like the white border so I colored it with a matching marker. I added pom-poms to the Os, and action wobblers to my little gnomes. This will go to a friend who just sent me a pic of himself wearing the craziest Xmas sweater I have ever seen. I think he”ll appreciate it! I’m entering this card in Simon’s Flickr challenge.

A watercolor panel from Suzy's In Full Bloom set of pre-preinted cards. I colored with copics. Not sure what I will do with this - thinking about popping it into a frame rather than a card.
