Another simple card I made using a single flower from clearly besotted. I watercoloured the flower using my koi palette and then added a sentiment from the “Big Thanks Words” set. I have always loved the sentiments from SSS and this one just had to be used on this card.
For the SSS stencil challenge: SSS Sunshine Flowers Stamp (sss202384c) distress watercolored over a SSS stenciled background- SSS Tumbling Leaves (ssst121449). Stencil distress inked and then sprayed with Heritage Gold Perfect Pearls.
My card for the Simon Says Stamp Stencil It Challenge #48. I used SSS's Dots & Lines Stencil & Happy Day Stamp set For all the details see my blog: kraftpaperstamps.blogspot.com/2016/07/thanks.html
This card is for SSSflickrchallenge#69. I used "More Spring Flowers", "Inside and Outside Sayings" stamps from SimonSaysStamp.

"Smiling is my favorite!" And this card might be one of my new favorites. I was inspired by Jessica over at All The Sparkle and A Blog Named Hero, and her card with the metallic embossing. The theme for SSSFlickrChallenge#21 is embossing. I stamped the Hero Arts/Basic Grey Spice Market background stamp in Versamark ink and then embossed it with the Ranger Gold EP. I used a textured paper, so it almost looks like a fabric tapestry. I took the ink pad direct to paper and embossed a solid area to die cut this super cute Smile die so it would match.
The theme over at A Blog Named Hero (ablognamedhero.blogspot.com) and SSS Wednesday Challenge is "Favorites." Regular ol' heat embossing is still one of my favorite techniques. It's just kinda like magic to watch the powder melt and get all shiny. Plus, did I already say "Smiling is my favorite?" :)
A cute little treat card made using the Birthday Sweets stamp set from CZ+Simon Says Stamp. For this card, I stamped the itty bitty candle and star stamps and coloured them to make a background and used the cupcake as the main image.

A watercolour card for Kathy Raccosin's the Daily Marker 30 Day Color challenge and Simon Says Stamp Flickr Challenge #153 Crazy For Coloring. I was experimenting with wet to dry second layering and I wasn't a fan of how these turned out but wanted to turn them into a card anyway so my way to salvage them was to use the SSS Wonky die and a Kathy tip of pencil crayon colouring for shading and added detailing.

The theme for SSSFlickrChallenge#26 is pastels. I realized I don't use a ton of pastels. I think this counts, though? :)
I used my favorite sentiments from the SSS Sending Happy Mail set stamped in Smoke ink.
This card was also based on Heather's Sketch for the PTI Stamp-A-Faire 2015 Pattern Challenge.
And finally, entering SSS Wednesday Challenge (Anything Goes).

Inspired by Kathy R's coloring challenge, I've been trying to get a hang of the Zig Clean Color markers. I'm not doing great with any technique, but for simple, bold coloring, they're pretty easy. :) I stamped out this awesome Emma background stamp by SSS and went with the standby rainbow scheme. With all that color and pattern, I decided to do just a simple white inlay sentiment using SSS painted hello.
Created this for the SSSFlickrChallenge#66
The die is Dahlia Frame die from @simonsaysstamp. The background is made by using a stencil and translucent paste mixed with pink glitter on a pink cardstock. The background have been laying in my "background stash" for a long time! I'm trying to empty it, but I always seems to add to it... 😄
Created for #SSSflickrchallenge#30. Inspired by the colors of fall. I LOVE the colors of the changing leaves, they make me happy. SSS items used: Big Hello die. Various images from the following stamp sets: Birthday Bits, Whimsical flowers, Love This, Favorite Flowers, Stripe greetings and the Grid background stamp. Various distress inks used on watercolor paper.
I used the SSS Dancing Fruits stamp set, Large Dots Stencil, Stitched Rectangle Dies & Stitched Circle Dies for this card along with the discontinued SSS You Are So Sweet stamp set. I also embellished with Nuvo Crystal Drops and some Lawn Fawn Pink Lemonade Twine. I used Zig markers to watercolor in the fruits and dabbed on Spiced Marmalade distress ink with the stencil on the die cut SSS vellum. To see more pics & details, go to my blog post: goo.gl/5n9Ltw
