The lighting is not the best, using this background was totally inspired by Kristina Werner. I created it just for fun, but couldn't find a good use for it. Submitting it for the SSSFlickrchallenge 104. All stamps are from Simon Says, I think the circle die is from MFT.

This card was made using a floral stamp and sentiment from the SSS Beautiful Flowers 2 Stamp Set (SSS201844). Florals are watercolored using Distress Inks and then colored over with Prismacolor Colored Pencils. Splatters are made with Distress Inks. Shown with a matching envelope.
Back when this set first was first released, Debby Hughes did some pretty ink blending with this set. I decided to try to copy her style and technique. It's somewhat difficult to freehand a wonky rectangle with rounded corners, I must say. Anyway, I created my shape, then masked the shape of the stamp and inked away. It gives kind of an artsy, graphic look, eh? Made this for the SSSFlickrChallenge#45 where anything goes.
SSS Products used: One with Nature stamps; Slate Paper; Catkin, Slate and Twirling Tutu ink
Simon Says Stamp. I have had the Birthday WIshes Frame for a while and had never used it, so it's new to me!

Simon Says Stamp Monday challenge blog (www.simonsaysstampblog.com/mondaychallenge/) challenge is monochrome. I decided to test out my Ben Oliver color burst powder on the leaf. I was worried it would be too bright for what I wanted, but it turned out perfectly. I sprinkled red and yellow powder over the embossed leaf image from Simon Says Stamp on brown paper and sprayed it with water and copper colored perfect pearls to get a beautiful shiny leaf.
I pulled out my SSS Cardstock sampler to put together this fall card based on MFT's weekly sketch challenge - #250. Also entering into the SSSFlickrChallenge - Fallin' for Fall.

Spring is in the Air. Actually, where I live, snow is in the air. But at the SSSFlickrChallenge right now, Spring is blooming. Even though it's still cold, usually spring makes me think ice cream. All the little ice cream stands opening? So I stamped and embossed some of the main tasty treat images from the set, and then colored them Zig Clean Color markers and a bit of water. The sentiment was needing something, so I ended up framing it with a Paper Smooches die stamped with some of the smaller images from the set. Sentiment is embossed in a Wow EP.
The SSS Monday Challenge them is all about resists. It's a small are, but the main frozen treates were colored with the Zigs as an embossed resist, so I'm entering over there, as well.
