Card created for the HA "spring" challenge. "Is it spring yet?" This is the question my 3 year old dd keeps asking me. Unfortunately, it is not spring in our area yet....but soon! TFL!
I also wanted to mention that the giraffe is from the set that Karen sent to me for my birthday. Thank you, Karen! Hugs!

The first day of spring here and we have a fresh blanket of snow..we probably got around 8 inches here...that's more than enough lol...I failed at a batch of bread today, so all the birds and critters had a special treat...this red squirrel ate and ate and ate on it all afternoon...way too cute! Hope you all have a great day/night...many thanks for your visits!! Happy Spring btw!
PS...Flicker is misbehaving badly for me today..not sure how much commenting I will get done :( I am going to go try!

Beersheba Springs is a small town in East Tennessee with a population of 477. This view is of the Collins River Valley down below. Even though it was overcast I was able to capture some light showing through on the valley. Fall colors are just barely starting to show. I was about 2 weeks early for the full color of autumn. This is officially my first day of spring 2016 image. The scene was bursting with colour where most places were dull as we went for a Sunday hike. The ice lay in thin sheets like shards of glass broken among the reeds and bushes. We actually heard them crashing off the branches with the warm sun as we stood there. Spring is on its way!

Two classic barns on Spring Gulch Road near Jackson, Wyoming share a beautiful view of the Grand Tetons in the distance. The creek and fences are a nice bonus. HFF

Gorse is an ubiquitous sight in the spring months and just screams sunny days to come, to me. It's especially prevalent in the New Forest area, where I took this one. The delightful weekend we spent picking gorse flowers to make gorse wine, surrounded by the coconut smell and curious horses, is a lovely memory still, 10 years later.
I always enjoy the sight of these first blooms springing up along the trail by our house... having a little fun with the edit here.... so Happy Sliders Sunday!
..
for a Happy Summer Weekend !
