Spring seems a long way off here, but a local flower shop had a nice display of springflowers outside today.

Spring scenery provokes people's interest.

Spring as truly arrived, bringing a spectrum of glorious colours, the gardens a blaze of colour, the tulips out in abundance, enticed by the warmer days. The trees and shrubs not to be outdone offering and displaying their colourful buds, blossom and a freshness . A wonderful time of year.

Glorious spring day here. Full spring fever alert!!!

We have a botancial garden here in Birmingham, and it was absolutely lovely today.

I am not sure how we could have had a prettier day. Broken clouds, perfect temp...ahhhhh...it felt great to be outside. We felt positively giddy, these kinda days don't last long here, before you know it, we will be steeped in summer's heat....but until then, I am going to enjoy it!

It's suppose to be Spring. But today : snow. Bleh!

The tree in our backyard

Tremont Spring Flow, Great Smoky Mountains National Park

This was photographed on a wonderful day of overcast skies and light rain up on the Middle Prong of the Little River in the Tremont area of Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The river flow was too strong to get in the water at this location, so I climbed out on a fallen tree to the middle of the river to get the perspective for this image.
