The storm is over but winds are lifting salty spray off the waves - could be a great sunset in a few minutes time...
Spectacular orange and yellow sunsets are just about the only good thing that comes from these thick voggy days. During this one, I was lucky enough to capture a humpback whale passing by.
A chance to learn and practice some skills from Sophia at the BSCC last night. This seed head a lot of attention last night and really pleased with the high tech background!

Taking the back road home i have to say the bottom 60 kms are very good but the top 15 at the Canmore end are brutal, Axle breaking pot holes every where

Spray
I’m guessing that the spray form the waves was creating this effect – obscuring most of Pittenweem from view. It certainly was amazing to stand and take it all in. truly awesome.

Thira playing around with the hose after swimming at the beach. Probably one of my favorite photos ever.
Cloudy sunset from Maalaea, Maui, Hawaii. El Nino has brought a lot of rain to our island this year. There were periods when the sun would be completely obscured by clouds for days at a time.
Strong onshore winds forced me to take this shot further back. The awesome view, the smell of the salty ocean spray and the sound of the waves crashing on the rocky shore was worth the hike in and out.

- www.kevin-palmer.com - Spray Falls is a 354 feet high waterfall found on the northwest side of Mt Rainier. You can hear it from far away and as the name implies, I kept having to wipe the water droplets off of my lens.

"Kawasemi" means kingfisher.
We trained water supply for forest fire.
1000 liters water sprayed in an instant.
静岡市消防局のヘリコプター、カワセミとの防災訓練をこの週末に行いました。
山火事を想定し、ヘリコプターに川原の水を給水して山に散水する訓練です。
1000リットルの水の放水も一瞬、鮮やかでした。
スマートフォンのカメラで撮影したので、シャッター速度は自動です。
