Just a small post to show I'm alive. Finals week this one and next, so I'll be "trying to study" and pass my classes. AP tests and all that jazz. But anyway, here's this little vignette I whipped up to show you guys. I've decided that I haven't built anything really with mini figures that isn't military related, and so this would be appropriate. I was tinkering around with parts on my desk I came up with the speargun and just built the base around it. Hope you guys enjoy!
No place to hide for those little fish when this little lancer is on its game. This Greenie was willing to let me stick around while he packed himself full of these small fish. Photo taken on Horsepen Bayou.
I promise that I'll post something besides an alligator or a Green Heron tomorrow. Wishing everyone a marvelous weekend.

We watched the herons fishing here for several days. Sometimes they would spear the fish, especially if they were large ones, and sometimes they would grab them cleanly. This fish was a large one and the heron had difficulty swallowing it.
He finally used the ground to push the fish further back into his throat before swallowing it.
Speared fish
Great Blue Heron snagging a large fish in Raymond Pool at Bombay Hook NWR. It was interesting to see that the heron speared the fish with its bill rather than grabbing it (see top comment box)
It took the heron sometime to maneuver the fish then finally swallow it

Boat hull from set 7244 :
Last Sunday I thought there was going to be this wonderful sunrise it didn't happen so this is what I got. I meet up with Gullfeather while I was there thanks for the company Stan. We all shoot what we like and I just happen to like THE CAPE.
I picked up a book the other day at Chapters it gave a list of the 500 places on the face of the earth that you should see and Cape Spear is one of them.
