Fisi class System Patrol Carrier (SPC)

Role: This destroyer sized carrier is built for rapid deployment and long range system patrol, the system patrol carrier's main roll is to patrol the Nyani system and respond to possible threats and sensor anomalies.

The SPC is much smaller and faster than mainline carriers, with very limited production and hanger capacity. The SPC carries squad of 4 Bawa-A space superiority fighters. At first it may seem inefficient to have such a small carrier, still needing facilities for strike-craft production, maintenance, docking, crewing and support. However due to their extended and often remote missions, the requirement for a flexible platform and constantly variable force is needed. Using a larger carrier force for border patrol would be much more resource intensive, and requre a larger crew and resource reserve.

Ride, rope and run!

FORT HOOD, Texas - Scores of Soldiers from the 143d Sustainment Command (Expeditionary) got a taste of Texas hospitality during the 76th annual Gatesville Riding Club Rodeo held Aug. 15 in Gatesville, Texas. The Soldiers received free admission and reserved seating thanks to the rodeo's organizers and sponsors.

Many Soldiers from the Orlando, Fla., based Army Reserve unit had never seen this uniquely American sport in a live setting. Their hosts did not disappoint these first-time spectators as the cowboys and cowgirls demonstrating their riding and roping skills in various events from barrel racing to bull riding. Even the local children brought the Soldiers to their feet as several young buckaroos rode sheep into the arena as part of the rodeo's mutton bustin' competition.

Between events the the rodeo's announcer TC Long and rodeo clown Ronald Burton kept the audience entertained with their jokes, one-liners and slapstick. Long and Burton even designated Spc. Brittany Cavazos, a fueler with the 143d ESC, as the act's official cheerleader.

Palm Sunday 2016 photos by SL Forsburg/SPC

i vividly remember the age where i could finally see onto the countertop. while it opened my eyes up to new and glorious things, i also felt disappointed at how many treats my dad had left in plain view, i remember asking for some of his doughnuts and not being allowed. but never fear, these cake balls were shared with everyone, even my peeking eyes.

the beautiful thing about having a crappy childhood is that i know what i don't want my kids to have to go through. we like to share.

GO BIG ALLDAY

these flip flops are actually 3 inch wedges. seeing that i'm 4'11" i prefer to never be flat footed in public. i live in sandals year round, despite mounds of snow in the winter.
