Second album by one of the all-time most interesting French Jazz trio.
Akagera was the soundtrack of a 30 minutes wildlife documentary made in 1980.
Original French pressing on JMS label.
The Roundhouse music and performance venue in Camden have been celebrating 5 years since their relaunch with a major art installation. The building is an old circular railway shed, which they have used to great effect by filling with with a circular curtain made of hanging rods on which specially commisioned films and animations are shown, together with soundtracks that literally surround you. It's on until August 29, and if you are in the area, go!
pre-ordered tix from fandango. midnight showing! forced convinced hubby to go with me...hehe! you are suppose to get a free itunes download of bella's lullaby with purchase (within 24 hours), but i never got my code via email. no matter. i purchased the soundtrack tonight from target! i got the bella poster (looking for edward, willing to trade). i don't want to warp anyone's perception of the music, but (as others have stated) i expected something different for bella's lullaby...like a sweet, simple, romantic piano solo. and i like rob's song, but it is hard to understand what he is saying. oh well...still good! ^_~
update - fandango finally sent me my itunes download! it's actually for bella's lullaby remix. so it's not on the CD!

Thanks for stopping by comments and favs welcome!
Original Soundtrack to a 1975 movie named "Les 11000 verges" (inspired by Guillaume Apollinaire's writing).
A little too orchestral for my taste, wish this LP had extended Brazilian influence. The title track is terrific, but something like a bonus Sambba Erotica would have been appreciate.
1978 repress on Pema Music label.
This wasn't mine. I got the thermos and lunchbox years ago at a Creation Con. The thermos is very rusty on the bottom, but intact inside. I was a big Man from UNCLE fan back in the '60s. I like to say I went through puberty with that show. :)
I don't have a score for my life, but I was a big tv buff growing up, so I guess the UNCLE theme can serve as my soundtrack.
I did it myself with the tracklist. If you want to print, join the group Camp
Rock - We Rock and I'll give it for you ^^
Digging through some boxes today to find some stuff to sell at the upcoming toy show next month...
...I came across my Transformers soundtrack album!! Authentic '80s vinyl right out of my childhood collection. I knew I had this around here somewhere. One of the best movie soundtracks ever!! And the slipcover is still in amazing shape too!!
Love these songs... I wonder if this is still in print and/or available on iTunes. Must go check.
No, this isn't going to be for sale at the toy show. Now that I "found" it again, I think I'm gonna put it in a frame.
Is it just me, or was the original animated movie far and above way better than the Michael Bay films? Awesome voice acting by the likes of Leonard Nimoy and Robert Stack and Judd Nelson... AND Sue Blu (aka Stormer) as Arcee!!
We had an Ornament Exchange party a couple of nights ago and my husband created a cool ensemble of unusual Christmas songs. I made 15 of these CD covers and we handed out the CDs as gifts at the party. His "soundtracks" are always a big hit :) The melting snowman is called Global Warming by Stampotique. I just love these crazy characters! The fuzzy tail in the background belongs to Hunter, our grumpy old man kitty. Thanks for looking!
an orchestra, a choir, that's always what I love in music and songs.
After yestrerday's "The Holiday" Movie with Cameron Diaz running madly to her love at the end (I would too If I were in her shoes :))) ) and this music this leading music of Hans Zimmer. I was humming all evening. Today all the neighbourhood was listening to it with me :))
Am I ashamed?... no! I'm a fool! :))
the image literally depicts the first line of one of my favorite Neil Young songs. Do you know the line or the song title?
I finaly found the wild things soundtrack this afternoon... and was even lucky enough to grab the last copy!!!

This one comes to me via my friend Jill, who bought it at a Goodwill. Before that Jessica Perry wrote her name on the back, and WDMC (Department of Mass Communications at Eastern Kentucky University) owned it.
Taken by Cory Funk.
Soundtrack from the old movie, "Flipper". Pic taken back on Sunday, May 27, 2018 around Brisbane, CA while along U.S. 101 northbound.
Found this tarnished gem at the Goodwell in the Haight-Asbury area, along with another LP set I snagged.
"Shock Treatment" is the 1981 follow-up film The Rocky Horror Picture Show (It is not a direct sequel!) - It didn't gain the cult following of RHPS, but it has its moments, and some memorable numbers. (Hey, it has Jessica "Phantom of the Paradise" Harper in it, cast as Janet (Weiss) Majors ^_^;, and Charles ("The Criminologist") Gray is cast in another role (and actually interacts with the main cast! ^_^;) )
Yeah, it's a cut-out/notch disc, but -- It's the SHOCK TREATMENT soundtrack, damnit! A once-in-a-lifetime moment where I was in the right place, at the right time!
Oh, I've heard they released the film to DVD in 2006 - I must find that disc... Help!

Tikal Temple I is the designation given to one of the major structures at Tikal. It also is known as the Temple of the Great Jaguar because of a lintel that represents a king sitting upon a jaguar throne.
Tikal National Park in El Peten, Guatemala.
Tikal is among the world's travel wonders, many calling Tikal one of the most spiritually powerful spots on earth. The monumental site with its towering pyramids looms out of the thick jungle canopy like stoic sentinels of ancient mysteries.
Tikal was once a wealthy metropolis of 100,000 inhabitants and the seat of power for the great Jaguar clan lords. Today, Tikal attracts archeologists from all around the globe and the wild-live surrounding the ruins makes it a naturalist's dream. Because of its importance and magnificent combination of nature and archaeological remains, Tikal has been declared a Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO.
The ruins of Tikal include more than 3,000 structures extending over six square miles and including palaces, temples, ceremonial platforms, ball courts, terraces, plazas, avenues and steam baths. The ancient Maya began building Tikal around 600 B.C., and for the next 1500 years the area was an important religious, scientific, and political center.
The Tikal National Park is not only home to an ancient Mayan City. Screeching howler monkeys and squawking parrots provide nature's soundtrack to all visitors in the area. From monkeys to white lipped peccary, brocket deer, coati-mundis, toucans, scarlet macaws, parrots, ocelots; even the seldom jaguar can occasionally be spotted. Along with many vegetation spices there is also an abundance of tropical flowers.
