2) an Azureus torrent client, controlled remotely with the Azureus dashboard widget. The completed torrents folder also has a folder action that pulls new music files into iTunes

The Sonos Zone Player indexes all music on the Mac mini, for playback in any room of my apartment.

Con la sua voce calda, profonda e sensuale eppure limpida e sicura, il cantante jazz, R&B e soul Mario Biondi inaugura domenica 23 giugno la serie Ascona Specials 2013. Il suo è uno dei concerti più attesi della 29. edizione di JazzAscona. Biondi infatti è una vera e propria star non solo in Italia, ma anche a livello internazionale. Vanta prestigiose collaborazioni con artisti di primo piano quali Incognito, Chaka Kan, Al Jarreau o Burt Bacharach.
Tante diverse esperienze sono valse a formare il grande artista d'oggi: dagli ascolti fatti già in tenerissima età accanto al padre cantante, Stefano Biondi, in ricordo del quale ha assunto l'attuale nome d'arte, ai cori in chiesa, ai turni nelle sale di registrazione sino allâopportunità di aprire, dal 1988 in poi, alcuni concerti di interpreti e autori internazionali, primo tra tutti Ray Charles. Il suo percorso artistico conosce una svolta nel 2004, con la pubblicazione in Giappone del singolo This is what you are, che rimbalzando dalla consolle di Norman Jay, celebre dj della BBC, viene rilanciato in tutta Europa. Il brano è ripreso nel 2006 nel primo album dellâartista, Handful of Soul, che ottiene un clamoroso successo e vale a Biondi quattro dischi di platino. Ma è solo lâinizio di una carriera prestigiosa, che vede il cantante siciliano primeggiare nelle classifiche di vendita con i successivi album: il doppio live I love you more del 2007 (con la partecipazione della Duke Orkestra); If del 2008 (impreziosito dal contributo della âTelefilmonic London Orchestraâ e da musicisti come Herman Jackson , Jacques Morelenbaum o Fabrizio Bosso); Yes, You del 2010 (testimonianza del trionfale tour estivo che lo ha portato sui maggiori palchi italiani), fino al recentissimo Sun, album uscito in Italia il 29 gennaio e che verrà pubblicato da Sony Music in tutto il mondo. E' un album di grande qualità , dal respiro internazionale, frutto della collaborazione con Jean Paul Maunick degli Incognito, Chaka Khan, Al Jarreau e Leon Ware. With his warm, intense, profound, sensual although clear and powerful voice, the jazz, R&B and soul singer Mario Biondi will be the opening act of the Ascona Specials 2013 on Sunday, the 23rd of June. His is one of the concerts we mostly look forward to during this 29th edition of JazzAscona. Biondi is indeed a true star performer, renowned not just in his home nation but internationally, also thanks to his many prestigious collaborations with artists such as Incognito, Chaka Khan, Al Jarreau or Burt Bacharach.
A variety of experiences have allowed this artist to be fully equipped for the present: as from a very young age he could be appreciated and listened to by many whilst performing with his father, Stefano Biondi â in his memory
comes his artist nickname â in church choirs, recording studios and further on whilst building up to the opportunity to perform as opening act, as from 1988 onwards, for some amazing national and international artist, first in line Ray Charles.
His artistic career takes a new direction in 2004, with the release in Japan of the single This is what you are, which, thanks to the famous BBC DJ console of Norman Jay, gets launched in the whole of Europe. This track is then included in the 2006 full length album Handful of Soul, a record which collects massive success and rewards Biondi with four platinum records.
This is just the beginning of a prestigious musical career, with the Sicilian born singer top of the class in the main charts with various albums: the double live record I love you more (2007 â with the collaboration of the Duke Orkestra), If (2008 â preciously enhanced by the âTelefilmonic London Orchestraâ and the collaboration of musicians such as Herman Jackson, Jacqués Morelenbaum or Fabrizio Bosso), Yes, You (2010) â a true testimonial of the triumphant summer tour which brought him on all major Italian stages - up to the most recent Sun (released on the 29th January 2013 and which will be published by Sony Music worldwide. This record of great quality and with a international aura and appeal, is the result of a collaboration with Paul Maunick (Incognito), Chaka Khan, Al Jarreau and Leon Ware).

Er kann auf die wertvolle Zusammenarbeit mit Topkünstlern wie Incognito, Chaka Kan, Al Jarreau und Burt Bacharach zurückblicken.
Verschiedenste Erfahrungen haben ihn zum grossen Künstler gemacht, der er heute ist: als Kind begleitete er seinen Vater, den Sänger Stefano Biondi, in dessen Gedenken er auch seinen Künstlernamen gewählt hat, dann sang er in Kirchenchören und als Session-Sänger im Tonstudio. Ab 1988 durfte er einige Konzerte von internationalen Autoren/Interpreten, unter ihnen Ray Charles, eröffnen.

1). ROME - Uffizi ticket prices in high season will rise to €25 from 1 March. WANTED IN ROME (10/01/2023).
The Uffizi in Florence will raise the price of individual tickets in the high season to cope with rising costs in the energy and construction sectors, the gallery said on Tuesday.
The new cost of tickets in the high season - from 1 March to 30 November - will be €25 instead of the current €20.

However for early morning visitors during the high season there will be a discounted ticket price of €19 between 08.15 and 08.55.
The cost of tickets for Palazzo Pitti and the Boboli Gardens, which are part of the Uffizi Galleries complex, remain unchanged.
Seasonal and family passes also remain unchanged as does the €12 ticket price to visit the Uffizi during the low season (1 December to 28 February).
The increase in high-season ticket prices was decided by the Uffizi board of directors, and approved by the regional directorate of museums of Tuscany and Italy's culture ministry.

"I think it's right, we have to adapt to European standards", culture minister Gennaro Sangiuliano told reporters at Pompeii on Tuesday in response to a question on the increase of the Uffizi ticket prices and the possibility that other Italian cultural sites will follow suit.
"On average, the large European sites cost more" - Sangiuliano said - "I think that the increase also responds to a so-called "moral" question: for an American family that spends €10-20 thousand to come to Italy, paying €20 for a ticket is something that can be done".

Polemiche per l'aumento del biglietto degli Uffizi, costerà 25 euro a causa dei rincari: la spiegazione del ministro Sangiuliano però lascia dei dubbi.
Per vedere le opere del Botticelli, ma non solo, si dovranno pagare di più. Il Cda degli Uffizi ha deciso di aumentare il prezzo del singolo biglietto alla Galleria delle statue e delle pitture per far fronte all’aumento dei costi dovuto al caro energia. Dall’1 marzo 2023 al 30 novembre dello stesso anno il ticket costerà 25 euro. Non sono mancate le polemiche per il rialzo, pronta la replica del ministro della Cultura, Gennaro Sangiuliano, che lo ha giustificato.
Quanto costa adesso il biglietto
Il periodo scelto per l’aumento del biglietto che vale l’accesso alla ‘Galleria delle statue e delle pitture’ va dal 1° marzo al 30 novembre: è quello definito di ‘alta stagione’.

Nel 2022, nella stessa fascia temporale, il ticket è costato 20 euro.
Ad oggi, e fino al 28 febbraio 2023, lo stesso biglietto costa 12 euro, come confermato dagli Uffizi in un comunicato: questo perché il periodo è di ‘bassa stagione’.
I motivi del rincaro
Il Cda degli Uffizi ha deciso di aumentare il prezzo del singolo ingresso individuale alla ‘Galleria delle statue e delle pitture’ per far fronte all’aumento dei costi nel settore energetico ed edilizio.
Il rialzo riguarderà il solo ticket di accesso singolo per la Galleria in alta stagione: statisticamente, spiegano gli Uffizi, si tratta di un biglietto acquistato per la maggior parte dai turisti stranieri.
Ci sarà comunque uno sconto mattutino, proprio in alta stagione, per chi entrerà al museo tra le 8:15 e le 8:55 (già sperimentato a Palazzo Pitti): il biglietto costerà 19 euro.
Invariati “i prezzi e tutta la scontistica di bassa stagione, oltre agli abbonamenti Passepartout 5 Giorni, Passepartout annuale e Passepartout Family”, recita la nota degli Uffizi.
La replica di Sangiuliano alle polemiche
Il ministro Gennaro Sangiuliano è intervenuto rispondendo alle polemiche nate sui social dopo l’aumento del costo del biglietto per accedere agli Uffizi: “Penso che sia giusto, dobbiamo adeguarci agli standard europei” ha detto, ripreso dall’Ansa.
“Mediamente i grandi siti europei costano di più – ha aggiunto – fatta eccezione per la Gran Bretagna dove c’è una situazione particolare. Penso che l’aumento risponda anche a una questione per così dire ‘morale’. Per una famiglia americana che spende 10-20 mila euro per venire in Italia, pagare 20 euro un biglietto è una cosa che si può fare”.

Dopo un anno tornano in Antartide alla base pensando che ormai i cani siano tutti morti. Ma con gioia e commozione si accorgono che due cani si sono liberati e sono sopravvissuti e li riconoscono e uggiolando di gioia si lanciano verso di loro.
