The sculptured human figures perched on La Candelaria roofs and balconies were created in the mid-1990s by local artist Jorge Olave with financing from City Hall. Each was modeled after a local resident, generally ordinary people such as shoeshine men, carpenters and one of the artist’s models. Originally, they numbered about two dozen, but many have been damaged by wind, rain and sunlight. Olave is arranging financing for a new set of sculptures to be placed on the Plaza del Chorro. The S-Models lower hull was chopped removing one road wheel from each side. What was the front of the IS 2 is now the rear so the hull sides were extended upwards. The new front which was the rear saw cutting and sanding to fit the new profile. New plastic card has been glued in to support the lower hull tub and start on the angles of the upper hull.

The lower hull was plated up and new OKB track and road wheels added to replace the S-models parts. The S models drive wheel and return rollers where thinned out and used. The hull was fully plated up and the engine deck taken from the JS3 cut down to fit the new model. A large read platform was made to support the trumpeter turret.
Mud guards finish the lower, supports will be required. The thick turret support was made by laminating thinner card. The rear of the tank was made up from small sections and features a nice cast effect.
