Smith Tower in Pioneer Square is Seattle's oldest skyscraper. Built in 1914, it is 484 ft (148 m) tall and has 38 floors.

It was the tallest building west of the Mississippi River until the completion of the Kansas City Power & Light Building in 1931.

It remained the tallest building on the West Coast for almost 50 years until the Space Needle overtook it in 1962.

The Smiths of Sittingbourne fleet had some interesting vehicles before its demise, one of Wally Smiths greatest regrets was aquiring this Metroliner NIB3834 (originally A119KBA). Seen here, on one of the rare ocassions when it hadn't broken down, picking up on the Commuter service at Victoria in July 1990. A119KBA was new to Ribble and at one time sported the Lakeland Experience livery. Eventually due to the considerable amount of money spent on towing it back from various places NIB3834 retired to the corner of the yard for many months before disposal.

Folk art park on Houston's East side is a marvelous place to visit. Difficult to find as it's within sight of I45 but without an exit from I45 to reach it. More than 300 US artists made this wild creative exhibit. Houston, TX. Dec. 2022.

By suggestion of my mate Elliot, I've taken a picture of the full Smith's fleet (including maintenance vehicles) in front of the depot.

Great suggestion mate, as I'm happy with the results.

This is a five-frame panorama of Smith Rock State Park partially illuminated by the rising Sun. A very light dusting of snow the previous night(?) added some white highlights in the canyon - wish there had been more accumulation!
