Door bell rings, flick switch to turn outside light on, door open/closes, look out the window to see who's there, be sure to check the mailbox (2 envelopes), move and change your house number, learn abc's, change the sun/moon b4 bedtime or the clock to stay up later, play with the ball shoot (3 balls) and the 4 shapes (fit in door or building shape holes), play some music and sing along. Hours of imagination and fun!

Dinadamı Thomas Smart Hughes (1786-1847), Cambridge'de klasik edebiyat ve dinbilimi dallarında parlak bir öğrenim görmüştür. R.T. Atina'dayken ayrıca şehrin kültürel hayatına ve eğitime ilgi gösterdiler. Hughes 1814'de R. Cockerell ile Yanya'ya yolculuk yapıp burada misafir olarak kaldıkları ve kendilerinden dört yıl önce Lord Byron ile Hobhouse'un kalmış olduğu Nikolos Argiris (Vretos)'un köşkünün ayrıntılı bir tanımını vermekte. Şehrin önde gelenleri hatta Yanya valisi Tepedelenli Ali Paşa'nın kendisi tarafından kabul edilen Hughes Ali Paşa ile ilk görüşmesini kuvvetli duygularla sergilemekte. Paşanın şahsiyeti ile ilgili isabetli gözlemler yapan Hughes bu zorbanın ülkesinde hüküm süren yaşama şartlarına, dini inançlarına ve eğitime değinirken son derece adil bir tavır benimsemektedir: "Geçmiş devirlere yada Osmanlı İmparatorluğunun başka eyaletlerine kıyasla buradaki halkın durumu çok iyidir. Farklı dinlere karşı hoşgörü uygulanması yanısıra örgütlenmiş bir monarşik iktidar hiziplerin yerini almıştır. Ülkede emniyet hakim, hırsızlıklar yok olmuş durumda, yeni yollar ve kanallar açılmış, ırmaklarda kayıklar çalışmakta, tarım ilerlemekte, ticaret gelişmekte, eğitimde ise kapılar açık..."
Hughes Parga'daki trajik olayları yakından yaşayıp bunları nesnel bir tavırla kaydetme ve yorumlama kaygısı içindedir. Coşkulu bir filhelen (yunansever) olan Hughes daha sonraki yıllarda Londra'da Yunan bağımsızlık savaşını destekleyen girişimlerde bulunup bu konuda çeşitli broşürler yayınladı. 1820 yılında yayınlanan kitabı duyarlı ve önyargısız bir tavırla ayrıntılı betimlemeler vermesi açısından Tepedelenli Ali Paşa devrinin en kayda değer gezi kitapları arasında yer almakta.
