The tiltle says all: An Aston Martin V8 Vantage N400, a Mercedes SLS AMG and an Aston Martin V8 Vantage Volante. I've seen three N400s last year in Nuremberg and there are only 240 in the world. I've caught the SLS that day before with an opened door, but the shot got ugly. Obstmarkt. 12.03.2011
Blue is the new Black! This is the only SLS Black Series in the world in this specific customer ordered colour.
I've seen this SLS a couple of times now, but I still love the color and the looks of this car! I took this photo last thursday at the prom of a school here in WInterswijk, I hope you like the photo!

First photo from the actual shoot of this epic SLS. This was taken from on top of a nearby shipping container, I really liked the angle. Not sure if I'm happy with the editing yet,I will probably end up replacing it later, anyway what do you think?

At the end of the event, I found this great car parked alone at the paddock of Circuit Park Zandvoort.
The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG is a luxury grand tourer automobile developed by Mercedes-Benz AMG to replace the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren.
The car is the first Mercedes automobile designed in-house by AMG and is described by Mercedes as a spiritual successor to the 300SL Gullwing.
The vehicle was unveiled at the 2009 Frankfurt Auto Show.
The SLS AMG is designed to be a modern 300SL Gullwing revival.
The car has a long hood, the passenger compartment is close to the rear axle and the rear of the car is short.
The SLS AMG will also adapt the feature of wing doors that will swing open upwards on gas struts, not in a mix of upwards and forward like the SLR.
The doors must be closed manually as AMG engineers decided against auto-closing systems because the systems would have added 90 pounds (41 kg) to the car.
In case of a roll-over, the doors can be fully detached to allow the occupants to leave the vehicle.

Spiritual successor to the 300SL of yester-year. A very cool design study.
Strobist: SB800 in beauty dish directly overhead, SB600 and 900 pointed at doors. All CLS through a Nikon D700. Some PS tweaks.
Not bad for a parking lot.
Its a couple of months left until its nice to go out and shoot again, but it didn't stop me from taking out this SLS on a quickie. The location wasn't really optional so I just tried doing the best out of the situation. I planned this to be a DOF shot, but I forgot to pack my 70-200 before I took off. But I'll make up for it another day.. More cooming soon!
