Three four-axle SLR units (SLR 804, SLR 3804 & SLR 3008) and two six-axle QGRY units (QGRY 6904 & QGRY 6908) lead a 106-car detour SLR 393 high over the St. Lawrence River as it approaches the island of Montreal.
We did pretty well two Sundays ago with the SLR eastbound extra over the Sherbrooke and Berlin subs. Here is one from West Milan where the tracks cross over the Upper Ammonoosuc River and parallel Old Rte 110. It is always nice to get a good gathering of friends out trackside for the day.
SLR 394 From Southwark arrived at Richmond in the evening, on the SLA Sherbrooke Subdivision MP 71.4
Note : I was arrived at my room in the motel when this train is arrived haha.
After being held out of Southwark Yard for a short period, the conductor has thrown the switch and SLR 393 is slowly pulling into the yard with SLR 3007, SLR 3008, QGRY 3014, QGRY 6904 for power and 42 cars. Six days a week the St. Lawrence & Atlantic sends a train from Richmond to Southwark Yard and return, using its own tracks as well as trackage rights on CN's St-Hyacinthe Sub.

I brought out my F2 and sat it next to me today. Felt a bit flat and needed some inspiration.
I have a roll of film in the Nikkormat FT2 and another in the Olympus 35 RC to complete, but just can't seem to get shooting lately.
Holding the F2 and winding/shooting off a few (dry) frames makes me feel better.
Looking at some of the comments, I am not alone in this.
I can just imagine us all, fondling our F2's as some sort of therapy!
