Run-of-the-mill backdrop. Definitely not your run-of-the-mill SLR. Thanks to the hilarious owner for peeling out when he wasn't supposed to before posing for some photos.
I had no idea this was worthy of #1 on Explore but I'll take it!
Today I'm going to watch my first F1 race at Silverstone and because I'm a McLaren fan I thought I'd post a McLaren road car!

SLR 3035, QGRY 6908, QGRY 6904, SLR 3804 & SLR 3004 lead detour SLR 393 onto the island of Montreal the morning after a minor amount of snow fell.
I already had the Super-Komura 50mm f:3.5 and recently acquired the Super-Komura 45mm f:4.5. This is a very basic test of the Super-Komura 45mm f:4.5 vs. the Super-Komura 50mm f:3.5.
The 50mm is a bit faster, but very soft wide open. I cannot complain about sharpness if stopped down to about f:11.
The 45mm is somewhat wider, has better contrast and is visibly sharper wide-open. All in all an improvement, in my opinion.
Both lenses are big and heavy - the 45mm especially so with an 82mm filter ring and adding 900 grams to an already hefty camera.
This is the 45mm @ f:11.
Camera: Zenza Bronica S2a
Lens: Super-Komura 45mm f:4.5
Exposure: 1/60 @ F/11
Light Meter: Gossen Profisix sbc
Film: Rollei RPX 400 developed in XTOL 1+1

No actual optics - demonstrates mechanisms only.
With the leased SD60M's relegated to trailing status these days (when they're running), detour SLR 393 is arriving on the island of Montreal with QGRY 3105, CBFX 6028, CBFX 6029 & SLR 3805 for power.
