The sleeping giant. Easy to imagine this as the folds of skin of some giant dinosaur, instead of the reality - the flanks of ‘Painted Hills’, a striking natural phenomenon in Oregon.
Maybe a waste to offer this in monochrome, as the colours of the rocks are truly stunning but with the light at this time of the day, I was more impressed by the shapes and textures. Two hours later, it had all changed and Painted Hills showed why they are so called.

Our Daily Challenge: MY FAVORITE . . . ANIMAL
Powerful, fast and beautiful.
Under the right circumstances, sometimes even cute (like on the photo), but also sneaky and of course dangerous. Overall, tigers are fascinating animals.

Pams Work
paying attention to the present moment in an accepting, nonjudgmental way
Come in to bed
Switch off the lights
Close your eyes, sleep tonight
Think of all the things we did today You touch me then, we fall apart
I lose control, the hardest part
I wish there it could be another way Losing, i'm losing
I'm losing my mind
Ruining, i'm ruining
You're ruining my mind
You cut me deep like broken glass
I wonder when this time will pass
Or will i fall asunder everyday Sitting here beside the fire
The flames they grow just like desire
Will i fall asunder everyday
Losing, i'm losing
I'm losing my mind
Ruining, i'm ruining
You're ruining my mind
I read somewhere that dogs need at least 16 hours of sleep. I used to think they slept so much out of boredom :) Vet pulled her canine teeth last year, changed the shape of her face a little. They do so much dental work on dogs these days, they have no teeth left by the time they get old, costs aloooot of money too :(
My baby is getting to be an old lady but still acts like a puppy :)

Sleeping Beauty
You got no idea what you do to me
I hope your dreams come true
Last night was perfect
We stayed up too late, but it was worth it
To wake up seeing you

Sleeping Buddha is the view of the mountain range which includes Mount Kangchenjunga Range and the Mount Kumbakarn. The Kangchenjunga forms the body while the Mt. Kumbakarn forms the face of the buddha.
This is the best view which we have seen of the sleeping buddha during the sandakphy trek.
Comma, Valley gardens, Scarborough. 2018
My first Comma butterfly of the year, and what a beauty. Probably just emerged that morning.
This was my joint “most favourited” picture of 2018, thank you all very much for interest in my photographs.

Famous Washington St. with it's iconic view of the Manhattan Bridge, and if not for one of the unsung brilliant Mayor's of NYC D.Dinkins this Bridge would have been in the river.
But historic pov, streets called Washington St. for at the waters bank at streets end G.W made his retreat to Manhattan with his troops to keep fighting for another day. As a true leader he ferried on the last boat to Independence of a nation.
