Founded in 1910 in Tulse Hill, South London, the SLBI cares for an herbarium of both foreign and British plants. It has a beautiful botanical garden and an extensive library of botanical literature.
The volunteers in the Robert Pocock Project discovered that the herbarium contained some of his plants collected early in the 19th century - so they set out to find them.

Many of the plants grown in the garden are of medicinal interest. They were used by apothecaries to cure different ills in the past. This plaque in the garden commemorates the centenary of the founding of the SLBI.

The volunteers in the Robert Pocock Project discovered that the herbarium contained some of his plants collected early in the 19th century.
This one is a possibility, but does not name him as the original collector.
