Theme: One single leaf

Have a lovely fall weekend! :)

Hello my amazing Flickr friends !

Today is a blue day at Color my World Daily and we have another awesome theme at Looking close on Friday: a single leaf.

I have the hardest time to pick up leaves for my pictures. I always try to find the perfect, most beautiful and colorful leaf there is. So I end up, walking with leaves in my pockets (of course, whenever I decide to pick up some leaves I always forgot to take a bag or something to put my leaves in…) and trying to find another one, and another one …. People in my neighborhood know me as crazy leaf lady (or crazy Flower thief for those closer to me LOL). Of course, I put all my leaves between pages of my books to dry…This way I always have some awesome props to photograph.

Hello my amazing Flickr friends !

Today is a blue day at Color my World Daily and the theme at Looking close on Friday is: a single berry or cherry. As you can see I chose a raspberry. And since it is very difficult to photograph its own hand, I asked Mr. Severed Hand … well to give me a hand with this picture. I don’t know for you, but when I was a kid, I ate my raspberries like this. I always start to put them on my fingers and then I had raspberries fingers. Of course, my mother wasn’t a fan of this kind of manners, but I’m sure she was eating her raspberries exactly like me when she was younger. Today, my sons love to play raspberries fingers each time we have raspberries… and juste like my Mom did: I’m not approving any playing with food at my table.

Have a beautiful day !! Mucho, mucho amor for you all !!

Looking Close... on Friday: A single egg

A tiny nest that fell out of a tree after it was finished with; a little plastic egg from my Child Care Centre; a Crimson Rosella feather from the bird bath; in the Mulberry bush which needs a good trim this Autumn.

"The little rose is dust, my dear,

The elfin wind is gone

That sang a song of silver words

And cooled our hearts with dawn.

And what is left to hope, my dear,

Or what is left to say?

The rose, the little wind and you

Have gone so far away."

The cathedral has a Romanesque origin. It was built at the end of the 11th century. It was conceived with a Latin cross plan and a single nave 124 meters long. It was conceived to house four bell towers, but in the end only two with their spiers would be built. Construction of the remaining two towers was abandoned. The appearance that the cathedral takes is therefore quite heavy and serious, mainly due to the reinforcements with which it had to be built, as it is located on marshland. Of the original Romanesque construction from the 11th century, only the interior walls of the main nave remain.

It is also known as bone flower. The English Daisy is also considered to be a flower of children and innocence. Daisy is used as a girl's name and as a nickname for girls named Margaret, after the French name for the oxeye daisy, marguerite.
