This image was captured during SXSW in Austin Texas of the band SINAI. As you will hear in the video the lighting was not the best for the opening act which caused me to shoot the Nikon D3s at 8000 ISO.
What may surprise you during my editing of this photo is that I actually use fill light to its full potential to make my image pop even more.
This image is what I would consider to be a classic black and white concert shot. It is one of the best that I have captured since i have been shooting live show. There is just something about the tones and moment that was captured that draws me in.
Do you use fill light when you are editing?

Sinais de Fogo - Ana Carolina
"Quando você me vê
Eu vejo acender outra vez aquela chama
Então pra que se esconder?
Você deve saber o quanto me ama
Que distância vai guardar nossa saudade?
Que lugar vou te encontrar de novo?
Fazer sinais de fogo
Pra você me vê
Quando eu te vi e te conheci
Não quis acreditar na solidão
E nem demais em nós dois
Pra não encanar
Eu me arrumo, eu me enfeito
Eu me ajeito, eu interrogo meu espelho
Espelho em que eu me olho
Pra você me ver
Nós perdemos a viagem"

Sharm el-Sheikh is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the Arab world.
The Sinai Peninsula is a remote desert mountain range. The rocky mountains are parted from the deep-blue sea by a flat desert strip. This combination of desert and sea is an incredible sight and makes you believe you are on a different planet.
About 40 years ago, Sharm el-Sheikh was nothing but a small fishing village with about 100 Bedouin citizens. When Sinai was occupied by Israel in 1967 Sharm el-Sheikh started to develop as a tourist destination (like the rest of the peninsula). Israelis evacuated Sinai between 1979 and 1982, following the signing of a peace agreement between the two countries. Since the 1980's the Egyptians have been continuing the development of Sharm where the Israelis left.

Mount Sinai is a 2,285 meters high mountain in the Sinai Peninsula.
Mount Sinai (Arabic: طور سيناء , Hebrew: הר סיני), also known as Mount Horeb, Mount Musa, Gebel Musa or Jabal Musa ("Moses' Mountain") by the Bedouins.
According to Bedouin tradition, this is the mountain where God gave laws to the Israelites
I did the Mount Sinai sunrise tour from Dahab. This was most economical and easiest given security risk in the region.
The trek up started after midnight. My trek was greeted with thunders and rain--enough to wet my pants. Thankfully there were plenty of shops with shelters along the trail.
When I got near the top, I was so exhausted that I dosed off for 10-20 mins while sitting inside a shop. Awoken at sunrise, I rushed out to head up to where supposedly Moses talked to God.
Moses got the Ten Commandment tablets there. I got overcast sky, strong wind, and snow flurries. It didn't take long for me to head back down (as seen in the photo).
