Wadi Mahroom in the Sinai desert on a cloudy day. Usually when we are heading into the into the desert, the sky is clear and there are no clouds to see. This time a few days after the first big rain we were lucky and had a dramatic cloud show.

This is a capture of an oasis in the middle of the sinai desert, its formed by spring water from beneath the rock to the left.
Miracles of life in Sinai
Sheltering from the wind, behind the wall while shadowy figures move about in the half light like ghosts. In view is the Greek orthodox chapel and bell.
I am cold and spaced out by all of this.
A day out in the Sinai desert. Wadi Mahroom and the high sand dunes at Haddoudah are just beautiful these days. No people around, just peace, the wind and the beautiful landscape.
