Just have to make do with boring old Moths then, who for some reason seem to fly off when Batty Bat comes out to play!! For the interested I created this Spooky Tabletop shot by simply Bluetac'ing a wobbly translucent toy bat on to my Mac screen, whilst displaying a Web shot I took at Tarn Hows (Cumbria) and ‘Click’ this ‘Spooky Night’ shot was taken! The eyes were added using the Radial Filter tools in Lightroom 6. Don’t be too frightened and do have a Happy Smile On Saturday folks. Alan:-) HSoS…….

Voglia di sole, di colori, di pace.
Però non si può dimenticare un altro colore che rischia di dilagare in Italia : il nero. Gli ospedali di Campania e Palermo al collasso : si rischia il codice nero, cioè chi scegliere di salvare. La Liguria è quasi a saturazione, per quanto riguarda i posti in ospedale, forse lunedì in arancione. In Lombardia numeri di contagi esponenziali. Duemila presidi chiedono la chiusura delle scuole, perché non sanno come fare ad assicurare la didattica in presenza, dato il dilagare dell 'infezione da Covid..
Gli avvertimenti c' erano : in Germania, , Austria, Olanda erano già stati presi provvedimenti severi, mentre noi stavamo a gloriarci di quanto siamo bravi, mentre si moltiplicavano le proteste, i famosi sabati in piazza, con le strizzate d'occhio di alcuni personaggi politici ...
Mentre ricompariva, come per incanto, il famoso prof. Zangrillo , peraltro anestesista, medico privato di Berlusconi, quello del virus ormai morto nel '20, con la sua tesi del semplice raffreddore, e che non bisogna guardare ai numeri...
Ora finalmente qualche provvedimento tardivo, talvolta contraddittorio, con una multa irrisoria, una tantum (?) per quelli che rifiutano il vaccino e stanno intasando gli ospedali e impedendo a tanta gente adeguate cure per altre gravi malattie, che continuano ad esserci.
E intanto la polemica tra i partiti continua : per quelli che rifiutavano provvedimenti in nome della libertà , criticando il governo, ora questi sono solo 'pannicelli caldi'. Fate largo, dimettetevi, che veniamo noi !

This, too, is from my favorite rose garden, Point Defiance Park, located in Tacoma, Washington. Such a beautiful rose garden! Actually, the whole park is worth seeing, if you never have! There's a zoo and aquarium; a five-mile drive that overlooks Puget Sound and Tacoma's Narrows Bridge; a beach and boating area; not only the rose garden, but many other flowers as well including the rhododendron garden when it's in bloom; the duck pond as well as many other wildlife including eagles, deer, and raccoons; and lastly, miles of trails to choose from for your hiking pleasure! So you see, this park includes it all--definitely something worth adding to your bucket list! Hope you all enjoy!
