A Great Blue Heron all shook up in the Florida Everglades with the landing gear down. These birds are so beautiful and make for some great photography. We just returned from spending several days in the Florida Keys. My system is still adjusting as the temps were about 75 there as apposed to 10 above zero here.
Best viewed large.
This is REALLY good on BLACK
Saw these little birdies at the Butterfly sanctuary on Thursday. They are so cute and so tiny! Very hard to capture them. They don't sit still for a second hence the 'puffed up' version above and the slight blur below. :) Just too cute not to share.

A Whole Lot Of Shaking going On !!
The beautiful male Bobwhite went airborne and shook his feathers out as if to say " Hey Look AT Me " . He is beautiful and it was a real thrill to see them and have a few seconds to grab a few images. We were hoping they would come down to drink at the waterhole but did not .
