Hi #friends, here is my new shot! Been taking quite a lot of shots here on vacation. The atomosphere was really incredible while taking this one as the sun rays looked amazing! Had to turn it into B&W for even more dramatic look. Edited this one solely in Lightroom, didn´t really have to correct anything as the picture looked good straight from the camera. Taken with Tokina 12-24.
Wagtail. Part of my continuing series with birds on boats, every wildlife image I see is usually a bird on a stick or in what is considered to be the natural habitat of the bird, I have decided to do one with a difference, all the birds in this series are all shot on or about boats.
A cruise ship pulls into the harbour here in southern Japan at Kobe. Just across the way to the right is Osaka and around the bend is Sakai where we forged the sashimi knives a few days ago!

Viking Sun was built in 2018 in Fincantieri shipyard in Ancona. 228-metre long and 29-metre broad ship can accomodate 930 passengers on 14 decks.
Continuing my exploration of filters - I attached a yellow filter to my holga. Straight out of the camera the contrast was improved and shadows were more detailed.
6 diesel engines provide power to three electric motors, two in the back, one in front to create a heavy water flow around the bow so that the ice does not damage the ship. The front propeller is visible under the bow.
Built during WWII in 1944 to participate in the war effort by keeping the Great Lakes Routes open year round, the ship was decommissioned in 2006 to be open to the public in Mackinaw City.
