"Every flower is a soul blossoming in nature."
- Gerard De Nerval
Never has this been more true for me. These pretty little pink flowers are blooming on my big sister, Barb's shamrock plant.
Barb was killed on November 15, 2017 in a head-on collision. She was living with me at the time, so I still have all of her things here, including her plants.
Barb loved everything Celtic, and her shamrocks were her pride and joy. A part of her soul was definitely in every pot of them that she ever had.
The shamrocks have done very well outside this summer. I like to think that a part of Barb comes back in these plants every time a blossom blooms and dies.
This one's for you, Barbie. I miss you more than words can say.

I noticed this spider as it hung from a web strand attached to the brim of my cap and was dangling in front of my eyes. It is not a tiny spider, about 3/4 " including legs,
I took off my cap and lowered it to a blade of grass which the spider then grabbed. The subsequent shots made my day.

I'm lucky that he embraces my dorky holiday looks and matches them <3
Happy St. Patty's day a little early.
This Green Shamrock is rocking, though my Purple ones (three of them) are still coming out of dormancy.
After today and tomorrow and I am more or less done with school for the year. Next couple of days I'll need to play with then submit grades, and I think I am going to go help with the underclassmen tomorrow, to get out of the house and offer my support. I should then be back in full swing here.
Thanks for Viewing.
Green. Plant. Wild. Leaves. Love.
Love finding these beautiful little creations here and there! Love in nature ♡ Also, the colour green of them is my fave. In my opinion, not too dark, not too light, quite soft and neutral among all the other greens.
The shamrock is an Irish national symbol. The shamrock is a young clover plant with three leaves. The word shamrock is the English spelling of the Irish word seamróg, a shortening of seamair óg, which means young clover. The shamrock was, according to legend, used by Saint Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland and the person who brought Christianity to Ireland, to explain the divine Trinity. Later the shamrock became an unofficial symbol of Ireland. (The official symbol is the harp).
I'm not really shure about the identification but I think it's the
deer shield, deer mushroom or fawn mushroom

To celebrate the coming of spring, these are shamrocks in a pot. It's still too cold outside for plants.
