～辞令と人事と異動に想うこと～
４月１日になると、会社という組織は辞令を交付する。組織に属す人間は生涯に渡ってこれを受け入れ続けなければならない。誰もが納得する人事異動であるならば何ら問題ないが、満足する辞令はほんの一握りの人間らのみで、ほとんどが不平不満でいっぱいだろうと思う。
僕はフリーターだった。ただのフリーターではなく、部長と課長のどちらが上位の職なのかをまったく知らないフリーターだった。どんなアルバイトの人間でも、社会一般常識としてどこかしらから吸収し、大人になっているはずだ。
でも、僕はそんな大人にすらなっていなかった。僕が夢中になってきたのは常に音楽が中心だったからだ。血管が膨張するようなジミ・ヘンドリックスのフレーズやジョンレノンと小野洋子のベッドインに潔白なイメージを重ね、そうありたいと願うことが僕のすべてだった。音楽にはあらゆるアートが内包されていて、小説や絵画、映画などにも僕は敏感になって育ってきた。様々なアーティストらのインタビューを読み漁ることは、僕の六畳間の世界を広げてくれた。若きミックジャガーが警察に連行される姿やキースリチャーズの他人を嘲笑う言葉に、僕の心は震えていた。
あらゆるアートに触れていると夕暮れや朝日、雑踏ですれ違ったどうでもいい他人の会話や幼ない子供達の仕草に敏感になる。今風に言うと、KYっていうやつだ。空気を読めることは、時代を読み取る先鋭的な視覚や嗅覚を磨くことにもつながった。それが今の僕のシャッターを切る瞬間の意思を支えているのかもしれない。
でも、空気を読むと言うことは、未来を先取りし、感じ取るといったかっこいいものではなく、日々過ごしている日常に神経を尖らせ、重きが置かれることにもなる。
４月１日。辞令が交付されてからの組織内の空気が微妙に重い。新しい顔ぶれが引き連れた、明るく、暖かい春めいたムードで確かに満たされているのだが、どこか湿っている。たぶん気のせいではなく、辞令というのは、ほんの一握りの人間だけが笑顔になれるもので、９割の人間の澱んだ想いがそれを支えている。
僕はかっこつけるわけではなく、真剣にここに伝えたい。
大きな組織も小さな組織も、どんな人事異動でも満足しない人間は永遠に満足しないのだ。
その最たる人間がプーチンだ。
ロシアという大国を担って、地位も名誉も、おそらくは財産もしっかり築いたであろうはずなのに満たされることはなかった。これは組織の大きさなどではなく、人間個人の内面からすべてが起因している。より、誰かに認められたい。そんな傲慢な意識が膨れ上がって、他人の命を奪っているのだ。ロシアという大国、それに比してとても小さなあなたの組織。規模の大小が問題なのではなく、個人の内面から闇は生まれてくる。スターウォーズ風に言うと、ダークサイドに落ちたっていう表現だ。
辞令の意味を取り違えると、小さなプーチンが生まれ、次第に大きく育っていくことになるだろう。もちろん、これは家庭内や職場など、当人が出かけた先でもクレーマーとなったりして、鬱屈した空気を撒き散らす。闇の深さがより深まり、そこら中に撒き散らすわけだ。
僕は半沢直樹のような社会派ドラマが嫌いだ。仕事を終えて自宅に帰り、なおも仕事の延長のようなドラマに没頭する輩を僕は理解できなかった。いまでも僕は理解するつもりはない。機動戦士ガンダムもやたら人気があるが、戦争が展開されるというものにも僕は惹かれない。
僕が好きなのは、花より団子のような恋愛ものだ。どんないじめにも屈しない女子が腐った男子らの感情を解きほぐす。そんな些細でどうでもいいような物語が僕を支えてきてくれた。
プーチンに足りなかったのは、間違いなく愛だ。誰かが彼にガラス細工のような小さな愛を真剣に伝えるべきだった。いまさらこんな話に花は咲かないだろうが、でも僕はここに種を蒔きたい。
どんな人間にも、愛の種を蒔かなければならない。清新な水を与え、暖かい陽射しで照らしてあげること。
愛を摘んでしまうのではなく、咲かせることが大切だということを、名誉欲は忘れさせてしまう。
もしもあなたが辞令をたかが紙切れだと思えないのなら、心の中で憎しみを膨らませ、恨んでみたらいい。プーチンは格好の例だ。とどまることのない名誉欲は必ず自滅をもたらす。歴史を振り返っても、欲に溺れて自滅した人間はかなりいるはずだ。言葉や行動に表すのではなく、想像の中だけでそう思い、完結させること。闇から闇へ葬ることで、さわやかな春の風に撫でられる。
それこそが、幸せなんだと気づくはずだ。
４月の風と陽射しが、あなたの心の内に届くことを僕は願います。

Main story
There are two reasons why a person faces the sea.
One # to enjoy a slice of shine in the sea like children bubbling over in the beach.
The other # to brush the dust of memory like an old man who misses old days # staring at the shine
quietly.
Those lead to only one meaning though they do not seem to overlap. It’s a rebirth.
I face myself to change tomorrow # a vague day into something certain.
That is the meaning of a rebirth.
I had a very sweet girlfriend when I was 18.
After she left # I knew the meaning of gentleness for the first time and also a true pain of loss. After
she left # how many times did I depend too much on her # doubt her # envy her and keep on telling lies
until I realized it is love?
I wonder whether a nobody like me could have given something to her who was struggling in the
daily life in those days. Giving something is arrogant conceit. It is nothing but self-satisfaction.
I had been thinking about such a thing.
However # I guess what she saw in me was because I had nothing. That‘s why she tried to see
something in me. Perhaps she found a slight possibility in me # a guy filled with ambiguous # unstable
tomorrow. But I wasted days depending too much on her gentleness.
Now I finally can convey how I felt in those days when we met.

あらすじ
大学を目指している北見ケイは、SNS上で、6歳年上のイベントコンパニオン、上村香織に出会う。
上京してきた香織の夢は、有名なアーティストの友達になるためだ。
そのためにはラジオ局のプロデューサー、大沢亮の存在が必要だった。
大沢は、ラジオの生放送中、香織へ語りかける。
「僕には妻子がある。しかし、僕は君に会いたいと思っている」
ケイの同級生で、彼を想っている三條里香は、香織の動向を探っていた。。。。。
本編
人が海へ向かう理由には、二つある。
ひとつは、波打ち際ではしゃぐ子供のように、今の瞬間の海の輝きを楽しむこと。
もうひとつは、その輝きを静かに見据えて、過ぎ去った日々を懐かしむ老人のように記憶の埃を払うこと。
二つは重なり合わないようではあるけれども、たったひとつの意味しか生まない。
再生だ。
明日っていう、曖昧な日を確実なものへと変えてゆくために、自分の存在に向き合う。
それが再生の意味だ。
十八歳だった僕には大切な人がいた。

My travels around the UK by car for three weeks with my son. June/July 2019 Scotland.
Day Seventeen .. We have two nights in Glasgow starting at a wonderful airbnb in a two bedroom flat. And we have a washing machine!
The Lighthouse in Glasgow is Scotland's Centre for Design and Architecture. It was opened as part of Glasgow's status as UK City of Architecture and Design in 1999.
The Lighthouse is the renamed conversion of the former offices of the Glasgow Herald newspaper. Completed in 1895, it was designed by the architect Charles Rennie Mackintosh. The centre's vision is to develop the links between design, architecture, and the creative industries, seeing these as interconnected social, educational, economic and cultural issues of concern to everyone.
One of the key features of the Lighthouse is the uninterrupted view over Glasgow's cityscape available from the Mackintosh Tower at the north of the building, which is accessible via a helical staircase from the third floor.
The Lighthouse, Scotland's Centre for Design and Architecture, is a multipurpose visitor centre and events venue in the heart of Glasgow city centre.

Within the grounds of Beijing's Summer Palace is the Seventeen Arch Bridge (I counted). The vast expanse of the Summer Palace really is something to be experienced - I took a lengthy boat ride just to cross from one end to the other, taking in the beautiful scenery along the way! This is an artificial lake, and follows the traditional Chinese gardening practice of "One Pond, Three Hills", intended to represent the three islands of the immortals in Chinese Mythology.

Haha whoever saw me must have thought I looked completely lost or crazy.
A HUGE thank you goes to Courtney, who came along with me to watch for cars while her photography-obsessed sister played with her camera in the middle of this lovely little road.
I was sooo close to using the third one in comments, because the symmetry was so amazing, but I just loved my main one. Although maybe I shouldn't have worn those crazy socks?? What do you think?
By the way, I'm not really satisfied with the first in comments, I have other ideas in my head for my roadkill shot. Although my outfit makes it quite different. ;)
And I'll probably redo the whole sitting-in-a-box-on-the-side-of-the-road photo sometime and give it a more melancholy feel. We'll see.

Connecting the eastern shore of Kunming Lake in the east (left, above) and Nanhu Island in the west (right, above), the Seventeen-Arch Bridge 十七孔桥 was built during the reign of Emperor Qianlong (1711-1799); with a length of 150m and a width of 8m. It is the longest bridge in the Summer Palace.
The unique scenery is but one of the stunning landscapes in the Summer Palace. With the styles of Lugou Bridge in Beijing and Baodai Bridge in Suzhou, Zhejiang Province, Seventeen Arch Bridge looks like a rainbow arching over the water. On the column of the parapets are 544 distinctive carved white marble lions. On each end of the bridge is a carved bizarre beast. With the biggest arch in the midst of the bridge flanked by 16 others, visitors can count nine arches in different sizes from the middle to each end of the bridge. According to ancient thought, the number nine symbolises good fortune and safety; and the meticulous design of the bridge embodies it perfectly.
There is an interesting legend connecting to the beauty of this bridge. It goes like this. One day during the construction of the bridge, an old man in shabby clothes came to the busy building site and shouted "Who wants Longmen (Dragon Gate) Stone?" He got no reply as the others took him as a crazy man on seeing his poor appearance. The poor man left with the stone in great disappointment. He stayed under a big tree, and every day, he chiseled the stone as early as when cocks started to crow. One night, it rained heavily, the poor man had to shelter from the rain under the tree when another elderly man saw him and asked him to live at his home. After a year went by, the old man said goodbye to the kind master and left the stone to him as a reward in return.
At the same time, the project of the Seventeen-Arch Bridge was almost finished except for a proper stone to fit the gap in the middle of the bridge. Someone advised the project director to find the man who once sold Longmen Stone. The director found out where the old man once lived. Out of extreme happiness, he found the right stone and gave the master some money to move it away. To everyone's excitement, the stone was exactly the right one to fit the gap. Suddenly someone realised, "The old man must be the incarnation of Luban (the earliest ancestor of carpenter) who came to help us to build the bridge!" - from arts.cultural-china.com.
