This female cardinal has her feathers all fluffed up to fight off the vaunted Polar Vortex that continues to send frigid arctic air south into Iowa.

This title better applies to places where they are born spontaneously (Europe mainly) because in Brazil pansies can be considered a sought-after gift since you have to cultivate them if you wish to have their beauty and colors enchanting your life.
Sowing takes place in Autumn so that they bloom from early Winter until Spring.
Used in the decoration of gardens, forming clumps in large grassy spaces, such as borders along paths or bordering flower beds, and it also develops well in pots and planters.
As it appreciates the cold climate, in Brazil it is mainly indicated for high altitude regions in the South and Southeast of the country.

It seems to me that global politics have become very negative, which produces more stress and unease. La Senda del Oso es una vía verde en el centro de Asturias, que recorre los Valles del Oso, formados por los concejos de Proaza, Quirós, Teverga y Santo Adriano, que se puede recorres tanto a pie como en bicicleta. Se trata de una antigua vía ferroviaria por donde circulaba hasta el año 1964 un ferrocarril minero que transportaba el carbón desde las localidades de Santa Marina y Entrego, hasta Trubia, en el concejo de Oviedo.
Esta senda transita, en gran parte, por un espectacular bosque atlántico, convirtiéndose en una ruta sencilla, apta para todos los públicos, con un poco de desnivel, siendo un excelente plan para realizar en familia, en solitario o con amigos.
La Senda del Oso tiene aproximadamente unos 30 km de longitud, comienza en Tuñón, en el concejo de Santo Adriano, recorre todo el concejo de Proaza y finaliza en entrego (Teverga) y Santa Marina (Quirós), pudiendo disfrutar a lo largo del recorrido, de varios túneles horadados en la roca, del cercado osero, desfiladeros, etc.
Se debe de efectuar en varias etapas, para disfrutar totalmente de la senda, estas son:
TUÑÓN–PROAZA = 6 KM – PROAZA–CARANGA = 5 KM – CARANGA–ENTREGO = 10 KM Y CARANGA- SANTA MARINA = 13 KM

It marks the end of the month of Vassa, sometimes called "Buddhist Lent." This day marks the end of the rainy season in some Asian countries like Thailand, where Theravada Buddhism is practiced. On this day, each monk (Pali: bhikkhu) must come before the community of monks (Sangha) and atone for an offense he may have committed during the Vassa.
In Bangladesh Buddhist devotees fly Fanush (Hot Air Balloon) to honor Lord Buddha and all the departed soul during the eve of Pavarana Purnima.
