Going through my photos, found this attempt of a selfie with Neowise. Might be not the best quality photo, but it has something to say for me.

Firstly, it's kind of a once in a lifetime selfie :)

Secondly, the Plough (7 brightest stars of Ursa Major - the Great Bear constellation) can be seen very clearly together with the position of Neowise relating to the Plough. Also it can be seen that Neowise was not near as bright as the Plough, but more of the same brightness as other stars of Ursa Major - like the two stars to the left and down from Neowise. On the night of 21 July, those stars would be lambda Ursae Majoris and mu Ursae Majoris - they are supposed to represent the right hind paw of the Great Bear constellation. (I know it requires a lot of imagination to actually see the Bear, I never could manage that lol)

We have landed in Malmo, Sweden and our hotel is a wonderful 13th Century wonder with this custom built elevator to the tower room which is ours :) I am no selfie-taker but this multiple mirrors at diverse angles scenario was way too tempting for not trying to have some fun :)

The sun was very low behind me and I had a hard time taking a photo without this black stuff. So I just shot a shadow selfie instead.

Everywhere, really everywhere you see bicycles here. It is the most popular means of transportation to get through the many alleys. Btw....the world leader in bike ownership is the Netherlands, there are more bikes than people...

" St Alexander Nevski" is the main cathedral in Sofia, the city of my birth. Iconic building and a strong nostalgic link (I've had this picture on my walls wherever I moved homes - and countries - over 30+ years)...

And, yes - I know how to take photos without reflections and even do 'proper' reproductions, but just felt I'd like to snap this version ;) ))
