Sea canoed far from the harbour to find this beautiful secluded beach while fishing and catching fish to later barbecue them - seems like a dream and a world away from living in London. My camera was stored in a sealed water tight bag for this trip :)
A somewhat non-descript footbridge leads to a secluded island in the Japanese Gardens at Meijer Gardens. It was a very serene setting.
This picture was taken on the Bosque del Apache Wilderness, San Antonio, New Mexico. These two swans were all by themselves not paying me much mind at all, I think seriously in love with each other :) I watched them for several minutes finally leaving them to themselves :)

Seemingly secluded from the rest of the world, this lowermost but typical side valley of the Simmental is welcoming place. The Diemtigtal valley is a 16km-long oasis of wilderness and pristine beauty.
Sometimes moments in life feel just right and you can only see clearly through your mind and not your eyes.
The Mountains. The mountains of Glencoe are built from some of the oldest sedimentary and volcanic strata in the world. They were subsequently moulded, sheared and repositioned by a geological event known as a ‘cauldron subsidence’ which took place 380 million years ago.

We had to climb down a rather steep little path to get to this spot. It was so quiet there,,, undisturbed nature. The trees were past their prime but still beautiful. Thanks for your visits and have a lovely day/evening.
I eyed up this image two days previously but didn't have the camera with me. On that day there was an old rowing boat tied up to the post. I was a little disappointed to arrive this time with my camera and find the boat no longer there. I still went with the shot and liked the result, even with out the rowing boat.
The Stockholm archipelago is the largest archipelago in Sweden, and the second-largest archipelago in the Baltic Sea. The archipelago extends from Stockholm roughly 60 kilometres to the east. In a north–south direction, it mainly follows the coastline of the Södermanland and Uppland provinces, reaching roughly from Öja island, south of Nynäshamn, to Väddö, north of Norrtälje. It is separated from Åland by a stretch of water named South Kvarken. A separate group of islands lies further north, near the town of Öregrund. Between Arholma and Landsort there are approximately 24,000 islands and islets. Some of the better-known islands are Dalarö, Finnhamn, Nässlingen, Grinda, Husarö, Ingarö, Ljusterö, Möja, Nämdö, Rödlöga, Tynningö, Utö, Svartsö and Värmdö.

A quiet mooring on the estuary of the river Morar near Mallaig. Nice soft colours on an overcast day.
High up, on the alpine meadow Mises Grond above Sedrun, we passed this farmhouse. There is some kind of boiler/ engine in front of it. I don't know what it does. Cows were grazing in front of the farm and the view on Sedrun was marvellous, as you will see in the following photo, and in one of my earlier ones, which was Explored as well! At Coaster's Retreat, on The Pittwater.
A secluded beach near Sydney.
The Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park.
Accessible by private boat or the Palm Beach Ferry.
The upside - seclusion, an unspoilt beach, roaming swamp wallabies and random, large, goanna lizards. Watch your lunch.
The downside - no cafe. And that's bad. Very bad. However, you can survive. Just.
Leave your car at Palm Beach. Take the ferry. You won't want to come back. Here's something about 'The Basin':

And here's one of my favourite 'chill' tracks from Digby Jones. It is called 'Under The Sea'. Perfect for a day at 'The Basin'.
