A secluded spot on the top of a hill with some wonderful old trees. New saplings have been planted lined up around the mystic wooden chairs placed in a circular formation as-if its a secret gathering spot. The dusk light draping the scene in a orange golden glow of warm shimmering sunbeams. Shot at Nene Country Park in Cambridgeshire late afternoon as the light was fading.
A somewhat non-descript footbridge leads to a secluded island in the Japanese Gardens at Meijer Gardens. It was a very serene setting.
Sea canoed far from the harbour to find this beautiful secluded beach while fishing and catching fish to later barbecue them - seems like a dream and a world away from living in London. My camera was stored in a sealed water tight bag for this trip :)
This picture was taken on the Bosque del Apache Wilderness, San Antonio, New Mexico. These two swans were all by themselves not paying me much mind at all, I think seriously in love with each other :) I watched them for several minutes finally leaving them to themselves :)
This Barred Owl is my first of the new year. Not sure how many times I drove by this one before finally spotting. Always fun to find an owl.

Jaguars are the third largest of the four big cats. It has a sturdy build and usually weights between 125 and 200 pounds. It can reach up to six feet long and stand at about 2 and half feet at the shoulder. Its coat has a tawny brown base and is covered with black rosette spots.
Jaguars will either crush and suffocate and victim or bite straight through his skull. It prefers to stalk and eventually ambush its prey rather than chase it. Then it pounces from a prey’s blind spot. After the kill, jaguars prefer to drag their meal to a secluded spot to eat. They are carnivores but will eat almost any kind of meat.
Leopards and jaguars are both big cats that are similar in appearance. Leopards live in Asia, Africa, and the Middle East while jaguars live in South and Central America. Jaguars are larger and stockier than leopards. Jaguars can kill their prey by cracking their skulls while leopards kill with a suffocating bite. – Wikipedia

We had to climb down a rather steep little path to get to this spot. It was so quiet there,,, undisturbed nature. The trees were past their prime but still beautiful. Thanks for your visits and have a lovely day/evening.

ist eine bewohnbare künstliche Ruine in einem abgeschiedenen Waldteil nördlich der schlossnahen Boskette im Schlosspark Nymphenburg in München.
Sie wurde ab 1725 durch Joseph Effner im Auftrag Max Emanuels errichtet.
Das in der Tradition des Memento mori stehende Gebäude gilt als eine der ersten Ruinenarchitekturen der europäischen Gartenkunst.
Die Innenräume sind als Grotten gestaltet.

The Magdalenenklause
is a livable artificial ruin in a secluded part of the forest north of the castle-like Boskette in the castle park Nymphenburg in Munich.
It was built in 1725 by Joseph Effner on behalf of Max Emanuel.
The building, which is in the tradition of the Memento mori,
is considered one of the first ruin architectures of European garden art.
The interiors are designed as grottos
I eyed up this image two days previously but didn't have the camera with me. On that day there was an old rowing boat tied up to the post. I was a little disappointed to arrive this time with my camera and find the boat no longer there. I still went with the shot and liked the result, even with out the rowing boat.
A quiet mooring on the estuary of the river Morar near Mallaig. Nice soft colours on an overcast day.
High up, on the alpine meadow Mises Grond above Sedrun, we passed this farmhouse. There is some kind of boiler/ engine in front of it. I don't know what it does. Cows were grazing in front of the farm and the view on Sedrun was marvellous, as you will see in the following photo, and in one of my earlier ones, which was Explored as well! [Explored on 30/11/2020, #292]
