Another picture in my serie. Love these periods of transition in nature. Picture taken one of the last days in september.
A touch of color to brighten a fantastic sunny day.
Un tocco di colore per rendere una giornata ancora piu memorabile.
"I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. Time to die."

“Nature is never static. It is always changing. Everything is in a constant state of flux. Nothing endures. Everything is in the process of either coming into being or expiring.”

Such is the beauty of two seasons colliding....the last of the autumn aspens, framed by the snowy pines. Photographed Sunday afternoon in Allenspark, CO.

When the season is over and the temps start to drop the only use of the soccer field is the landing zone for the summers leaf's. This one doesn't want to fall just yet and has just a few more days left in him. I tried to come up with a better story, but really I just thought it might make a good image. Its a leaf from a tree I often see the birds I photograph. If any poetic types have a better story.... I would love to hear it.
I have been coming back to the same location over some time... It´s interesting to see how the seasons change, and how nature corresponds with them.

Dear friends of photography, thank you very much for your visits, your faves, comments and group-awards!
The photo contains a secret. Have you figured out what I'm talking about?
My tip: Take a closer look at the bird at the height of the sunrise...;)
You know it’s name?
So love this season... Gift giving of home made fresh baking always goes over well...

🎼: Christmas Cookies ~ Blake Shelton~
Please visit Christmas Tree Farm
I sure do like those Christmas cookies, sugar
I sure do like those Christmas cookies, babe
The ones that look like Santa Claus
Christmas trees and bells and stars
I sure do like those Christmas cookies, babe
Now Christmas cookies are a special treat
The more she bakes, the more I eat
And sometimes I can't get myself to stop
Sometimes she'll wait 'til I'm asleep
And she'll take the ones that I didn't eat
And put those little sprinkly things on top
I sure do like those Christmas cookies, sugar
I sure do like those Christmas cookies, babe
The ones that look like Santa Claus
Christmas trees and bells and stars
I sure do like those Christmas cookies, babe
Flowers, fruits, nuts and berries.
I collected these from the hedgerows on a cycle ride through the country lanes of Suffolk this week.
The seasons come and go and now we are into another Canola season with the gold just beginning to show.
An early autumn snowfall in the higher elevations of Mullan Pass surrounds Montana Rail Link’s Austin Creek Trestle at Skyline, Montana, on October 11, 1997. Lower elevations toward Helena received rain, but a frosting of snow flocks the trees up on the pass, creating an unusual look to the scenery.
