we was to look to the sea if the ice is gone, so of course I have to get some shots :) Without camera going nowhere !

Many little St Mark's flies were in the sky, hence the slightly speckled appearance!

Shot at Wanderlust Dreams - a sim I had made for my dear friend, Caterina.

Shot in Coos Bay Oregon Coast

Estimated weight 900 to 1,200 pounds.

He is a real big boy.

Got the shot and slowly walked backwards. I love the sensation, it makes me feel alive :)

……I thought we’d have a virtual seaside trip this morning, this is Newport in Pembrokeshire - looking forward to when we can see & hear the sea once more. Meanwhile we are still staying securely ‘Locked Down’ AT HOME to stay safe and also to NOT be a vehicle to the virus - Covid-19 does not have legs (or wings) Alan:-)

For the interested I’m growing my Shutterstock catalogue regularly here, now sold 38 images :- www.shutterstock.com/g/Alan+Foster?rid=223484589&utm_...

I took this shot at angle to show opposing forces. The groins are there to preserve the beach along the Norfolk coast but the waves seem determined to remove not only the beach along the coast but the land behind it too. A calm sea looks so ordinary but the slightest 'opposition' and it appears to rise up. The Norfolk coastline is being assaulted constantly and further up the coast villages are disappearing.

A long exposure, landscape image of old Mangrove roots on Illuka Beach at Mackay, Australia, at sunrise.

Feeling the sea breeze, catching the morning light.

Out exploring Banks Peninsula again on the motorbike this afternoon. This was taken about 7:30pm above Otanerito Bay (to the right) and looking south as the day was coming to an end. I couldn't stay till the sun was lower and potentially a better shot as this was still a 20 minute hike back up to the road then about 30 minutes over the hill to Akaora so about 2 hours back home. A remote part of Banks Peninsula and I was a being mindful that on my 1st trip I needed to play it on the safe side, but really a lovely area and not a sole to be seen.

~I must go down to the sea again

To the lonely sea and the sky~

If you were looking for blue skies and big clouds on this late September day in Ocean City, then you were in the right place at the right time. Perfect weather for our annual outing to this New Jersey beach town!
