It seems we are always a bit better working together. Sometimes alone time is good also. OR

You can let the other find the food and then take it from them....lol

Happy Thursday my lovely Flickeroos

Windy conditions today and the Accipters were on the move. Most of the smaller birds stayed hunkered. Wind and hawks are not the best conditions for sparrow photos. I enjoy the hawks too though :)

Don't let this guys cute whiskers and twitching nose fool you, just before I took this he had come over and bit me on the end of my finger.

My Dreams Are the Sun

See that golden hue

Burning in the west

My dreams are with that color

My dreams are the sun

The sun always sets

But never seems to rise

That sun carries my dreams

Slowly out of my reach

I watch it slide away

Leaving me behind

The color disappears

My dreams are with that sun

Whenever the sun sets

It rises in another place

A place blessed by that light

My dreams are hidden in that light

At my window seat

I watch the sun take it all away

My dreams are with the sun

My dreams are the sun

A monochrome, Lensbaby photo of a woman standing in a very large patch of wild Indiangrass looking up at the sky. The 8 FT tall blades of the grass with the large, plume-like, seed heads make a blurry, explosive vignette when using the largest aperture of this lens. Photographed at Banner Lakes at Summerset State Park in Warren County, Iowa.

A quick post and run of some images from the recent files and archives. I will catch up when I can.

On a post apocalyptic world machines are all that’s left...or so one would think. I’ve had this built for a while, I saw some photos on Flickr and YouTube of drones and robots and wanted to do my own take on a design. The hand as the eye on the head is not my own design but I really liked it and wanted to implement it. Enjoy! P.S I also used the tree in my last moc.

It looks like Spring is still only a dream here in Ottawa!!! We were hit with a huge snowstorm today... so sad!!! =(

A little Pine Warbler hunts

I've been wanting to recreate this for a while now, and the "future" prompt was a perfect opportunity. Loved working with these bright colors. They were relatively easy to see at 2 AM, at least. XD

I struggled to find the best angle to present, in the end you lose some top level detail (no postapoc build is complete without rubber duckies but you can't see mine in this shot!). Like yesterday, more photos will be coming to my Blockheads once I get some sleep.
