Aslom Island and the Mindoro mainland beneath a blue sky and clouds. Aslom is located just a few minutes boat ride off the Mindoro coast at Bulalacao.

Non è stato facile fotografare con il bagliore intenso del sole di fronte alla reflex. Per questa immagine ho dovuto scattare tre immagini. Una per il cielo, una per il mare e una per le rocce. Per il cielo ho cercato di sottoesporre per cercare di limitare l'intensa luce del sole che in altri precedenti scatti ha bruciato in maniera evidente buona parte del cielo. Ho poi lavorato su vari livelli per fondere il tutto in un unica immagine.

La Jolla Beach Coves, California.
Gloomy skies with the sun trying to break through one late evening on the shores of the Pacific Ocean. There were several beams of light that resembled searchlights out patrolling the waters looking for lost souls.
These stacks at Duncansby Head are often seen and photographed from the top of the surrounding coastal cliffs, so I thought I'd see what they looked like from a more lowly perspective.
California coast
In 1964, a group of architecture faculty at the University of California, Berkeley, some only in their 20s, were entrusted by developer Al Boeke with ten miles of magnificent California coastline three hours north of San Francisco.
For an exhilarating historical moment the energies of postwar suburban development, an emerging ecology movement and Modernist architecture found a common purpose: transforming a 5,200 acre sheep ranch here into a progressive residential community, built in a way that was not only in tune with nature, but driven by nature.
The Sea Ranch came to be “the California architectural monument of the 1960s,”
