The North Sea Canal (Dutch: Noordzeekanaal) is a Dutch Ship Canal, long 25 km, from Amsterdam to the North Sea at IJmuiden, constructed between 1865 and 1876 to enable seafaring Vessels to reach the Port of Amsterdam. Another in the series of long exposure beach photos in Cornwall.
I wanted to capture the feeling of being alone with the forces of nature and feel the sense of mystery of the place.
An impression of sea and water. Again a texture of an old agave-leaf.

There is no excessive color or magnificence in this photo, it is only the brightness of the sun caressing the sea, the backlit silhouettes in a moment of harmonious complicity after the common effort and little else. However, the scene transmited me a harmony, a beauty and a peace that only simple things bring.
