Langs de smalspoorlijn van Freital-Hainsberg naar Dippoldiswalde (de Weißeritztalbahn in Sachsen, Duitsland) zijn interessante stationsgebouwen te vinden waaronder dat van Malter. Het houten gebouwtje van Malter stamt uit 1912 en heeft inmiddels de status van een beschermd monument. Ondanks het druilerige weer is het er gezellig druk met passagiers die in afwachting zijn van de stoomtrein van de Sächsische Dampfeisenbahngesellschaft mbH (SDG).
Along the narrow gauge railway (750mm) from Freital-Hainsberg to Dippoldiswalde (the Weißeritztalbahn in Saxony, Germany) there are still some very nice historical stations. As an example, the wooden building of Malter dates from 1912 and has been officially listed as cultural heritage. A number of passengers are waiting here for the steam train of the Sächsische Dampfeisenbahngesellschaft mbH (SDG).

Nella parte terminale del suo percorso, questa linea ferroviaria corre lungo il confine con la Repubblica Ceca, posto poche decine di metri alle mie spalle.
