I just enjoyed watching the interaction between the two birds. The blue jay was there first, but the woodpecker doesn't want to share. The squirrel remained oblivious to everything but the peanut he was munching on.
This individual has a very distinct 'patch' in Forster Park. Whenever you walk past, it is basking on the ground and then flies up and swoops around your head, seemingly going "Clear orff! This is my turf! Now scram!"
