I found this Dove & Pear - Wasteland Cruiser at Cosmopolitan and knew I needed to do a photo. Denna is wearing the UNA SchoolBunny Outfit. Her companion and fellow scavenger is Hobbes a Tiger from the JIAN Tiger Collection.
A sure harbinger of something bad,two turkey buzzards hang out near our farm a few days back. Whenever there is roadkill in the area, they seem to appear shortly.Their numbers have seemed to be on the increase in recent years,I spotted a dozen hanging out near a livestock farm a few days back, and I have to admit I found it somewhat unnerving....
Hoping you all have a much happier sliders sunday!
This gang of seagulls hangs out on the beach scavaging whatever they can find left by people (who should know better, but that is a different rant). For 121 Pictures in 2021 #83 "Scavengers".

My third entry for vignweek 2020, a contest where you have to build a creation a day for a week. The third day's theme was post apocalypse, so here's my entry. I hope you like it!

Crows were all over in Haines looking for food and eating apples that were falling to the ground. Haines is in the northern part of the Alaska Panhandle near Glacier Bay National Park and Preserve.
These critically endangered white-backed vultures are a joy to be able to observe/photograph in any situation since there’s no telling how much longer they’ll still be around in the wild. In this specific shot, the birds are somehow managing to look affectionate and very intimidating all at the same time.
The Red Kites (Milvus milvus) are returning more regularly now. This handsome chap was a little smaller that the one that flew over last week, so I'm guessing more likely to be a male bird. I am really pleased that this family group seems to have overwintered well and making plenty of overflights again. Apologies to regular visitors to my photostream who may be getting a bit tired of looking at photos of Red Kites - can't resist grabbing a shot, it's good practise for panning with a longer lens attached.
Our camera club is having a scavenger hunt to keep us motivated during these trying times. I've found all but one out of the 20 items on the list. I'm still looking for one or two to represent "creation". This particular photo was one of three that I submitted for "Framed". And it's a composite photo! The water is a spot along a river, I think the Shenandoah, north or south fork and the goose was on my pond one morning. :) Lots of fun working in Lightroom and Paint Shop Pro. So today I will be out looking for Creation! LOL
Thanks to indiscriminate breeding, Lichfield has an ongoing problem with feral ballet dancers.
We're Here: Tutus!
Got caught by security again :-D
Turkey vultures and black vultures are similar in size and coloration, but turkey vultures have red heads and necks. The turkey vulture is so named because its head resembles the head of a wild turkey.
The two species can also be distinguished in flight by the fact that only the tips of the black vulture’s wings are white, whereas the back half of the undersides (flight feathers) of the turkey vulture’s wings are silvery white. Turkey vultures are also regularly seen standing with their wings spread, a posture not often seen in black vultures.
Turkey vultures are scavengers and use their sense of smell to locate carrion. They are even able to detect dead animals that are not visible beneath a forest canopy. Unlike the more social black vulture, turkey vultures usually forage alone.
Little is known about the nesting habits of turkey vultures and only a few nests have been found. They usually lay two eggs on the ground in a cave or under the roots of a tipped up tree.
I found this one at Joe Overstreet Landing on Lake Kissimmee in Osceola County, Florida, and after a brief conversation it agreed to let me take this portrait of it.
While watching a juvenile Starling being well attended to by it's devoted parent, they wandered over into the area of the yard where some treats for the squirrels and chipmunks had been tossed.
For a few moments they all looked like they are on a Scavenger Hunt.
Maybe the beginning of a new character.
I got a little inspired by Star Wars. Rey's character is pretty awesomesauce. For once I created a human character, not my thing but sometimes I just like to do something "new"
If someone likes to know most stuff I wear is from Pucca's PFC. I mixed and matched different outfits and stuffs.
Enjoy :)
